Wins and losses from my perspective are not as important as the quality of game played— players understanding their assignments (Ms State 2000), halftime adjustments(haven’t seen since 2019), and overall intelligent football while avoiding things like blowout down your throat call me daddy losses (KY 2021) or dogfights with lower talent teams (Missou 2020, Arkansas 2021)

Of course if we go 6-6 after $140 million this site may crash.

ETA: fat fingered 2019

0% chance the Tigers lose 5 games.

We will be favored in at least 9.

Im predicting 10-2 but 11-1 wouldnt surprise me

Lol you don't think those were massive turn arounds by Pittman and Heupel? Poor guy. Those two programs were left for dead when they were hired. The fact that they were even competitive in year 1 was a miracle. Pittman helped Arkansas take off in year two and people are expecting Tennessee to build from last year. If those programs can take massive leaps in a short period of time, there's no reason LSU can't do the same. LSU is much more talented and why I believe they are not a massive rebuild. A massive rebuild takes 3-4 years to become viable. Try to use your brain before sounding like a dumbass.

They had 30-40 players for the Texas bowl. This is a 3-4 year rebuild just to get bodies.

We could sign 50 players next year if we want to.

No restrictions on the 2023 signing class.

8-9 wins would be a monumental accomplishment considering where we were just 8 months ago. Hopefully our fan base understands that this is a gut job rebuild and will take a few years before we can expect to be at the top of the sec west again.

8 wins would be a “monumental accomplishment”?? For fricks sake . Some of y’all want LSU football to be far worse off than it is .

5 losses is safe for those guys. When we do better we are a good surprise to them. Just have to go out and put it on film.

Eli or Colby - don't be fooled. One is going high in Round 1 while the other may be lucky to be an undrafted free agent.

End of the day, like every other, so called expert, he doesn't know any more than anyone else on this board.

Yeah I don’t know anything about what kind of QB, OL and CB play we'll have. Those are pretty damn important too

Maybe.

We will see.

No matter what, the floor, imho, at LSU should be 9-3 in ANY given year. If not...you deserve to be on the hot seat.

I have ya at 10-3 with a bowl win.

i mean CBK had to get players from mcneese and ulala just to fill the roster. i don't think folks understand what O left him with.

Lol I can assure you that I love the tigers and am as hopeful as anyone. Don’t confuse my objectivity and realistic expectations with hate for the tigers. I’ll be rooting for LSU whether they go 6-6 or 11-1.

Well, then you would be in the extreme minority. He is the best in the business when it comes to CFB. The dude knows his stuff and is about as nonbiased as you will find.

You know who is really a Josh Pate fan? Josh Pate. He knows his stuff, but his act gets old after a while.

What were his projections last year? I can’t find them anywhere online but would be interesting to compare.

I believe he was calling for 9 or 10 wins before last season. A lot of others felt the same way, but he isn’t Nostradamus any more than the rest of the YT/podcast crowd.
