To be fair, it probably would have been MORE surprising that Emery was available than not.
For some on here Emery is like the hot girl that keeps cheating on them. Deep down they know she is unfaithful, yet they keep believing she will finally "change"...only to just cheat again.
The coaching staff doesn't rely on Emery being available or reliable when putting together their game plans or roster. They just assume he won't be and take whatever he gives them as lagniappe. He'll likely play again this season and have a great TD play in a big game or two. But that is about it.

Hes gonna be the guy who barely played in college because of academics, but shines when he gets to NFL. Most likely as a free agent
