my guess would be academics. probably waiting for NCAA review. this issue has hounded him his whole LSU career. while they claim to be FOR athletes, NCAA drags their feet on academic reviews and penalizes kids for NIL on technicality. College Football needs a new entity that actually cares about the kids / players.

How do you quantify “big game?” Is that rushing for 34yrds, .5 TD, Fumble, and missing blocks on blitzing defenders?
The guy can’t stay on the field and when he does his lack of preparedness shows itself via fumble, missed block, low Y/ATT. He is a 5th year Senior and hasn’t even made the cut for best back up RB for LSU in the last decade. Charles Scott has had a better collegiate career than him.

Resting on his HS football laurels. If he were a 3 star recruit this post wouldn’t be here. It’s the disappointment from such lofty expectations that frustrates the fan base. He’s one of those recruiting “misses,” but it’s not like LSU was the only school to bite. Let’s hope he gets a degree and helps our academic percentages.
