Auburn was 25th in scoring D before LSU played them giving up 18 ppg.

Auburn was 56 in total defense.

Who really cares about total defense? Defenses are judged by how many points they give up. If total defense is so important, Missouri is currently the highest-ranked total defense we played and our team posted 49 points on them (42 by way of the offense). FSU is 9 spots behind Missouri in total defense giving up 350 yards per game. Daniels accounted for 410 yards against them.

every day someone is complaining that JD 5 isn't the favorite for the heisman. relax, if we win out the rest of the season he'll be there. you can't pin the ole miss loss on him, but he had chances to lead the team to victory and didn't. He faltered in the second half against florida state, too. the heisman guys see that. He has improved. he needs to show the team leadership factor to win the big games. He did it last year vs alabama, so he can take care of business and then your fears will be alleved.

Bad SEC? lol.
The Pac12 is having an unreal season with their tops and SEC is still right behind them. SEC is 34-8 non conference. I love when people just post things without facts.
It’s about the top not the OOC record. You look at the top 10 lately?

why does ANYONE care what any media pundit thinks?

Stop watching that garbage.

Just watch the games and ignore all the other noise.

They have no faith in his ability to do what he does against a defense like Bama.

Beat Bama and JD will become the number one Heisman candidate.

I think it has more to do with our two losses.

Has any quarterback ever won the Heisman when their team was not even in the top four?

Andre Ware, Desmond Howard, and Tim Tebow are three of the dumbest people ESPN pays to talk on their network. McCarthy shouldn’t even be in the discussion, and Ware said Penix should be a top 3 draft pick.

RG3 has seen JD in person multiple times, praised him in those games about being a Heisman candidate, then ignored the fact that he ever said any of that.

The “media pundit” was the only one giving JD love. The other 4 guys all have votes, so their opinions matter.

McCarthy is a system QB, JD is the offense and our only chance of winning. Huge difference
