It was a mid season heisman pick, not future games

So it's kinda nuts they left out JD.

Considering JD is currently third in odds to win, why would a sports talking head not pick the current favorite? If JD keeps improving, he’ll win.

lsu has played one top 25 defense and lost. Daniels had a 64 QBR in that game.

Auburn was 25th in scoring D before LSU played them giving up 18 ppg. Daniels destroyed them and LSU scored a series record 48 points on them.

Missouri was giving up just 20 ppg going into the LSU game. Daniels destroyed them too and LSU's team scored 48.

The voters tend to focus on how players perform as the season goes on and so that's why Daniels is in the top 3 of nearly all the betting odds to win the Heisman. A bad game against Bama would knock him out of contention, but as of now, he is in the top 3 for good reasons.

South Dakota
Middle Tennessee
Kansas State
Memphis
Vanderbilt

Yeah that’s a brutal schedule.

That's just idiotic. Without Daniels, I'd hate to see where LSU would be. And that's with me thinking Nuss is talented and could be a productive QB.

Daniels has been a great runner, a great passer, and he has been tough as nails. He has been throwing long dimes and has been accurate all over the field while rarely turning the ball over. We couldn't ask for more out of a player or a QB.

Yeah that’s a brutal schedule.

Kansas State has the #14 scoring offense and Memphis has the #20 scoring offense in the nation. Not a brutal schedule, but What else you got?

Auburn gave up just 27 to #1 UGA and just 28 to Ole Miss. They gave up 48 to Jayden Daniels and LSU. LSU has the #1 scoring offense in the nation. Jayden Daniels is really good.

I know it doesn’t matter but LSU scored 49 on Mizzou not 48.

Either way it’s still great

Pac12’s best OOC wins are UF and TCU.

UF is 5-2, the same record as LSU. UF lost to an outstanding defensive football team in Utah in August. Utah at home is REALLY good. They lost their starting QB and the number 2 has been out as well, yet they continue to win because of their defense.
UF is going to give UGA everything they can handle this week. Going into the LSU UF game LSU will likely have the same record with 2 SEC losses and an OOC loss to a worse defensive team than UF faced.

Pay attention to others and take off your p&g glasses for once.

All of this is a PROJECTION BASED ON SCHEDULE AND REGARDLESS OF WHAT PEOPLE SAY ON HERE, those ballots are in BEFORE the SEC Championship game which won’t matter because LSU isn’t going to play in it anyway because of how bad the defense is.

Daniels numbers will drop vs TAMU and Bama. They will make him look like a good QB and not a Heisman QB.
If I were a voter, Marvin Harrison Jr has been the best player in the country and deserves the Heisman. That’s one. Penn State was a better win than the entire SEC has - all SEC teams.

Bo Nix is better than every QB in the country including Penix at Washington. Washington has a better team as their special teams is really good as is their defense.
Penix beat Nix Penix and will likely beat every other ranked team in their conference which is a hell of a lot more than LSU plays.

LSU will struggle vs Bama, UF and TAMU. If they steam roll those 3 then Daniels will get an invite. Otherwise, he isn’t sniffing NY. Those 3 are legitimate opponents defensively.

Again, he had a terrible QBR vs the only top 25 defense he played and lost.

Brutal…no.

However, K State, and Memphis are pretty solid teams.

So you think all of these PAC 12 teams have a better conference?

also said Harrison Jr should get an invite to NYC of the 3 they said should be in NY. Nabors has better stats and Thomas has about the same exact stats as Harrison but with more TDs. Bad thing is he votes.

Funny, watching that game I thought the exact opposite. Penix is the better QB, Oregon the better team

This is not the mic drop you think it is. That was week 1 tams and players can and do get better. That said Daniels will have opportunities against some good defenses. He probably won’t put up the numbers he did against OM but if he plays well and LSU wins, he has a real shot at being invited

Since when did Heisman have to go to a player on a title contender ? In Daniels worst game he still accounted for over 400 yards. Penix shouldn’t even be mentioned after that abortion of a game against ASU. 0 tds 2 picks 41qbr. Only reason they won was bc refs bailed them out and a defensive score.
