Why can't you assholes comprehend that they do that on purpose.. not everyone in the country gets to watch every LSU game

Not really that hard to understand

Gotta admit that on the surface this screams "Participation Trophies" but I'm sure both of those guys probably deserve it.

I don't really care if two guys wear that number. I wouldn't want this to become a normal occurance but if there are truly two guys who are the lifeblood of the team then why the hell not let them both wear the "18"?

Actually, conservatives respect hard work and demonstrable success over time.

O's hire reeks of grading on the curve or some sort of Cajun affirmative action. Very liberal. More accomplished, more deserving candidates were not explored.

And btw no one here "hates" O. I love the guy and wish success for him.

I was thrilled when LSU hired him as DL coach and Recruiting Coordinator. There was a story, I think on 247 about his first visit to a high school here after getting the DL job.

Story goes he was in the classroom talking to some kids and next thing the HS coach knows O is moving desks out of the way to show technique right there in the classroom.

Loved it then and now. Can't help but love the guy and his passion.

But some folks are generals and some are staff sergeants. Both are needed, both are valuable. Both deserve respect.

Neither can necessarily do the other's job.

#18 should go away after this year. Was a good run while it lasted.

It's not going away, and it's something that important not only to the players, but to the NFL. NFL teams are more than aware of what the #18 at LSU means according to Bennie Logan.

Guess this just means that we have a guy on offense and defense that exemplify what it means to be a Tiger. Hardworking, dedicated, team player, leadership and will represent LSU in the best way. Likely voted on by the players so good sign.

It surely is nice that a player's number is a big problem, must mean everything else is O.K. Geaux Tigers.

Regardless of number, having two of the same on the same team is retarded. Shouldn't even be allowed by the SEC, NCAA etc.

No one indicated they were pissed. You made that up. There are states of mind in between agreement and pissed off. I know, because I am of one of those. I am not pissed, but I think it's stupid.

I'm sure you're well qualified to determine what "rank" major college football coaches are worthy of.

You've decided O can't be a successful HC before his first game as HC

And the first visit he made was to Arden Key. And he desmomstrated techniques in the living room of his parents house, not in the middle of a classroom. And that visit was the most instrumental reason we have the best pass rusher in football.

Your condescending patronizing "I love ole O and his passion!!!" crap is funny to read tho
