It doesn't seem like he was "involved," per se. It sounds like he was just curious. I mean the guy is from LA and went to LSU, he's probably a die-hard fan like any of us. Like if any of you were governor and this was happening you wouldn't want to know what the hell was going on

The bottom line is, this was a shite show. It's one of many shite shows that happened under Alleva. We can put this shite in our rear view.

Its good that a Governor is engaging with the flagship university in the state. But in no way should a governor be this deeply involved with what is going on.

Everything I've seen from Alleva is that he's a bitch pushover. And people hated him. Hopefully Woodward can handle things better in the political aspect and ensure the right people are making calls and dealing with issues.

He actually didn't seem too involved in any of the decisions. He was just fishing for info. Probably just wanted to post about it from his anonymous TD account and brag about sources before any media reports.

I can’t stand JBE but he’s a huge LSU basketball fan. He was at nearly every home game, a few road games, and the Mich St. game in DC.
Tone of the texts and context of his fandom lead me to believe he was just wanting info/trying to get this resolved sooner rather than later.
