Wes is garbage. They are a better hitting team than pitching. Oklahoma or UNC will end UGA

Wes hit the portal really hard the past 2 years at UGA and its paying dividends
8 of the 9 starters in their lineup are from the portal
The top 5 pitchers in IP are from the portal, 6 of the top 7 pitchers in terms of IP (20+ IP this season) are from the portal
Very little home grown talent doing much on the UGA roster...but Wes hit the portal just right and got a large number of guys past 2 years. Just goes to show if you spend the time and really put together a good (large) roster from the portal it can absolutely work.
I still dont understand how UGA has these guys come out of freaking nowhere though.
Daniel Jackson hit .218 at UGA last season, and got the best player in baseball award this season
Charlie Condon was freaking redshirted at UGA his freshman year; has a ridiculous RS FR season then stupid season as a RS soph...no idea why he was ever redshirted but they only got 2 years out of him when they could have gotten 3

Jay HAD a Wes Johnson, he had Wes...but Wes wanted to be a head coach. Yeskie can't control how pitchers throw. He can help them develop.
