So now y'all are going after Jacques too calling him a liar because y'all don't want to admit you were wrong. It's hilarious how no one on here has any connections at all but claim to know what BK was thinking. BK's bosses did not know how bad it was between the players and House. So once they found out they moved on it. BK is a great coach but what makes everyone think he couldn't have botched this after he botched the entire defensive staff, after he didn't go after ANY DLineman in the portal,as of yet, and it has left this program in a major bind. He botched the recruiting dept and special teams when he came here and STILL hasn't mended that. So why all of a sudden we are suppose to give BK the benefit of the doubt? BK was very close to making a huge mistake but at the end he made the right decision. Idk why it's so hard for y'all to grasp this unless you just hate Culotta and Moscona so much that you refuse to believe anything they say. Ya'll are the ones spreading misinformation. And no. I am not friends, family or fans of those two.

If the BOS needed an impromptu vid posted by the media to understand the nature of the relationsip of the players and Matt House, then the BOS or the coaches are not doing their jobs to know what the relationsip is like.
Are you saying that this was the straw? Possibly, but for BRMegaDonors having the final say and whimsically changing direction on a vid of Mekhi playing cold shoulder is very negligent, to say the least.
As if Kelly was banging head on wall at BOS and they kept saying "no, sorry bud....too much" but a vid was circulated and they say....."oh its much worse than what coach said." is silly..

BK made the decision before the A&M game and was supported by SW. The decision was made to maintain the coaches to close out the recruiting cycle and play the bowl game.
That is what happened and all of the rest of this is nonsense.

I lost a lot of respect for Jacques Doucet several years back when he went on a rant towards Les Miles in the Monday press conference without asking a question (even if Miles deserved to hear some of what he said). It was immature and out of line. Then he went on a self-promoting apology tour across local sports talk radio shows. I haven't really paid any attention to him since then.

Hell it was 12+ hours before most people knew about the video.

The thought from some people that House was fired because of that video is unbelievable to me.
It ignores the performance of the defense this year and lack of improvement, which is a much stronger indictment of his performance.

That video wasn't the sole reason for House's firing. But it was the straw that broke the camel's back. A lot of pressure came down on Kelly after that video was released. All of the defensive assistants were going to be terminated, but House was probably going to be retained. People might not want to hear this for some reason but thats what happened.

This is embarrassing. Did this self-important jackass actually call House? I doubt it. The crap that comes from these scam artists is shameful. In the adult world there are meetings and discussions, evidence is considered and executives (like CBK) make up their minds well in advance. On sports talk shows? It all comes down to a last minute video.
Kelly has sealed off the leaks and no one knows until the appropriate time. To suggest otherwise is to play into what keeps these con men in business.
