Jacques Doucet said his video most likely got House fired and he thought he was staying

He was on with a Jordy this morning and said he got calls that his video got a lot of people at the hire ups at LSU to question Matt House. He even called him to apologize to House that he didn’t mean to put that video out against him and said he was just trying to get celebration video from the field after the game. He said House didn’t blame him for that and he told him that he thought he was coming back next season after the bowl game. He also said it was a very unpleasant conversation with the people who wrote checks to buyout Matt House after his big contract extension from last season.

Yea Jacques, it wasn't the fact we fielded an historically bad defense (by LSU standards) that cost the team a shot at a championship, it was your video clip that did it.

Brian Kelly seems to be pretty thoughtful and methodical in everything he does. It seems unlikely he would fire one of his coordinators due to a video. I say this primarily because I doubt very seriously that Kelly was unaware of the issues between House and the players given his process for evaluating staff and players at the end of every year. The idea he would see that video and suddenly think he needed to fire House isn't consistent with who Kelly is or how he operates.

Jacques Doucet doesn't seem like someone that would make something like that up. And he's not the only person in the media that said that video impacted the decision. I think this has legs

So there's a big issue here.
CBK put too much faith/truth in House to get the job done for another year, possibly convincing higher ups to keep him on payroll. Maybe, higher ups didn't think House was the problem, or they deemed it was not financially worth it to try and hire a new guy.
I still find it hard to believe that the video itself is what caused the firing. You can go along any social media site and see how much people wanted house gone. The video only showed what we felt but through the body language of players.
