We are not outmanned. We are out schemed.
We are faster, taller, and more athletic than many of teams that have embarrassed us.

Us being invited is embarrassing. They should do 12 teams and cut the scraps.

Thank you Dick Vitale, Jay Billas, Sports Illustrated and especially our esteemed AD Scott Woodward for destroying the slim hopes of a lifetime LSU basketball fan. I have suffered waiting for the golden age to arrive since the Pete Maravich days. Looking back I guess those were the middle Dale Brown years when we went to the tournament every year and were mostly competitive. I loved watching Chris Jackson play - how entertaining was that! Then we had the final four one more time and Trent managed to win the SEC with players he didn't recruit. After that until Wade came it was all downhill. I had hope with Wade. He had spirit, fire and brought in the players. Then it all comes down again and it is worse than ever. At my age I will never see a golden age when we are in the top ten every year. Possibly I won't even see another winning season in the SEC.

So the fact that as a team we are 71% from the Free Throw line is embarrassing. This number should be better, it’s the easiest thing to correct and would immediately help our team.

Woody gave him a 7-year contact. The buyout would be huge. Ridiculous.

That's not bad for a team percentage wise. About middle of the SEC. What hurts us is that JHill is at 58% and JWill is at 60%, which means they are probably hesitant to draw contact or drive.

If Scott is smart he figures out a way to renegotiate his contract. Pay him more to reduce the contract length and put some performance incentives in the contract. The original contract obviously expected some major penalties and with that not happening we got to fix this terrible product.

If you aren't expecting any penalties, then you leave the contract as is. A year gets added if there are penalties, which we will find out about over the Summer.

What’s really disturbing is he let another cellar-dweller team school him coaching wise. They had 20 assists on 25 baskets. Why? All their shots were either wide open 3s or wide open layups.

How were they able to accomplish this? Clearly it wasn’t sc’s talent. If they had talent, they wouldn’t be last in the league. No, it must be a combination of their good ball movement (see coaching) and our bad defense (or our bad coaching).

A last place team was able to look like a team of Magic Johnsons out there. I guess somehow we are simply that bad.

Give him the remaining 5 games this season then give him the heave-ho after the tournament game loss-- same as Johnny Jones

It really serves no purpose for us to be in the SEC tourney this year-- we're so bad and will have such a low RPI that we won't be able to help our tourney opponent (probably Miss St) get invited to even the NIT.

“That's not bad for a team percentage wise.”

It’s 204th nationally
10th in the SEC

Hate to break it to you but that’s bad.

One of their players is expected to be a top 15 draft pick. Now I can't explain it, but that is talent. I don't know about the rest of the team except for Josh Gray who is a serviceable 7 footer.

According to this site it is tied for 8th. 73% gets you 3rd in the league. Getting above 70% for a team that has any big men is pretty good. 75-76% would be considered excellent.

Our biggest problem is out fg%, which is 41% and 13th in the SEC. That is putrid.

I am trying my hardest to repent and not be angry for things outside of my control. Maybe someone here can help me ?

I have a very livid mood when it comes to Dick Vitale. I dislike that man because I consider him to be an liar and a hypocrite. I believe he has helped tarnish our university. I would never murder anyone. I just have a deep hatred for him and his basketball cohorts.

Sports are not that important in the grand scheme of life. I get triggered when bullies like Vitale make everything about them. I don’t know if Brando and V got orders from Dale Brown but if it could ever be proven, I would lose all respect for Dale. They talk about Louisiana politics but they are part of the problem.

I just dislike cheaters and liars and corrupt individuals. I want to experience peace and calmness from all of that evil.

First, step back from that ledge, my friend.

It's okay.

Disliking people that deserve to be disliked isn't wrong. But it's still basketball.

This is what happens when you bring an OVC team to an SEC schedule.
