It is a mistake to not roster these guys.

We drug our nuts over Sankey and the corrupt SEC in a court of law and got a fully enforceable order from that Court saying our guys could play. Make no mistake litigation and college football are both a form of warfare by other means and not taking full advantage of our total victory in the courtroom will lead to bad mojo up the road. These guys deserve to be on the roster and should be.

No its not. They now have an even larger case against Sankey and I still think there's a large chance he gets forced out after all this is done

It was the right thing to do (rostering them) - risky or not

Well in life nobody deserves anything

Everybody has valid points about the entire issue and we can all blame the NCAA for implementing this new rule a little too late

What I’m most upset about is Chambliss was Ineligible under the old rules and he’s ineligible under the current rules and yet there is no outcry.

There is no call for him to not play today and there’s no penalty against Ole Miss and I guess because the cats out of the bag across the country, we have too many players that have crossed that threshold and are going to play this year so that’s the hypocrisy in all of this and that’s unfortunate

Moving forward, we should be able to get back to where we only have college athletes who are no older than maybe 23

Indiana won a national championship with a team that was very mature. I guess we can put it that way..

I said this in another OP. Why even go through all these shenanigans if you decide to fold after getting a ruling it’s ok to play these guys and the SEC is forbidden to take action against you if you do.

LSU has experienced attorneys and compliance officers guiding them. They are doing what they should for the time being.

Nah. At least one of the two (perhaps both) has not even completed the requisite acclimatization period, and therefore ineligible to participate regardless of case status.

I agree

LSU will be fine, regardless of what those idiots in the SEC do. LSU football would be fine no matter what.

Chess over checkers my friend. It’s a long play. They’re not in game shape anyway. LSU has played this perfectly, hold the line. Keep the faith.

Remember BK and all his talk. “I’m keeping receipts”

Lane is different. Lane is fricking toying with these clowns.

It feels like they are sitting there, and we can just let this play out with the case now in AL. Assuming they side with the SEC office, no problem. We haven’t played them. If they side with us, we add more depth. It is interesting that this is the hill Stanley is willing to die on, but not the Chambliss situation.

Forced out by LSU? Because all of the other SEC schools are on Sankey’s side…

We as LSU didn’t do anything. The individual players drug their nuts over Sankey. LSU was not a party to that suit, only a bystander that said we would follow court orders.

The sec are the ones that involved us in a different suit that should be thrown us since they did it in retaliation to something we don’t control

I agree that they should play them and frick the world but I think that if they get over ruled that the SEC would go scorched earth and that’s a chance they don’t want to take. I do t agree with it but being its two players we don’t necessarily need terribly, it’s prob the best idea. But it’s shitty that it comes to this and everyone else is doing it as well as Chambliss is going to play today.

I’m kind of thinking there is something bigger at play here
