I wonder if McMahon will ever have an LSU player that he recruited making big time plays late into the post-season

In 2022, Jo Morant had the game winning shot against the Timberwolves in game 5 of their playoff series. Not late in the playoffs but clutch.

Naz is 6’9”.

It always amazes me how this happens.

Player is 6’9” entering college.
Height gets rounded up to 6’10”
Eventually everyone says they’re 7 ft

Durant, Cousins, etc

For a while Durant was lying about his height to have himself listed shorter than he actually is. He was listed at 6’9” but was actually 6’11”

Durant is 7ft, his agent had his height listing lowered at the combine to not scare teams

I did not see it and am very very happy for him. Different people develop at different times in different ways. In fact some people are coached in a way where you may not be good at first but have the building blocks that if you keep playing will just get better and better. That means physically and mentally.

He always had the potential. Pels should have done everything they could to trade for him before he signed his deal.

Ideal 5 to pair with Zion.

Who’s on that list of worst players who are great at scoring?

Carmelo Anthony for example. its very possible to be a big scorer and be a poor overall contributor. if you are just taking a bunch of shots and not passing or playing defense or rebounding, you can score lot of points and still not be very useful. like cam thomas

Crazy Reid made more 3s in 1 quarter of this game than Ben Simmons have his entire NBA career. And Ben Simmons is primarily a pg.

Are there anymore tigers in the NBA? It’s not like LSU is a NBA factory.

A lot of you basketball casuals didn’t think so. But he is perfect for nba. He could shoot and willing to board with decent size. Not slow. Made a lot of sense.

Shoulda stayed lmao

Most accomplished for sure with 6MOY. I’m taking Cam over Naz if I had to choose one for my team

Idk, Cam is a great offensive player, but Naz Reid impacts everything. He basically took over game 7 against the Nuggets on both sides of the ball in their comeback win to move on. He is a great team player and can seemingly contribute in every way even when his shot might not be falling. Thomas is mostly just a scorer.

And Reed was 7-9 from 3 last night and led his team with 23 points. A 6'9 dude who can sometimes rain 3s, drive and slam it in your face, steal, block and rebound is pretty damn tough to beat.
