I know we’ve had some really good pros including Albert Belle, Ben McDonald, Bregman, Nola and I know I’m missing some, but where does LeMahieu stand?

I would probably go with the guy in the mlb hall of fame that played at lsu.
That’s an Astros joke because bregs has stuff at the hall of fame before someone downvotes me.

Which former player is in the HOF? I honestly can’t figure out who it is.

Albert Belle would have gotten HOF consideration if he were nicer to people.

I was just kidding. Alex Bregman has stuff at the HOF museum.

DJ’s numbers are similar to Todd Walker’s at 12 years in the bigs
.289 / .348 / .435 ; 107 HR ; 545 RBI (Walker)
.299 / .357 / .420 ; 103 HR ; 569 RBI (Lemahieu)

I love Bregman and he is a bigger star, but LeMahieu has had the better career so far. He just isn’t flashy and doesn’t sport the power that Bregs has, but he does have a batting title.

Aaron Nola might be in consideration.

Also Brian Wilson and Will Harris had great careers.

Who from LSU is in the HOF

Belle, that dude was elite. Love me some DJ too.

Not best career, but Brian Wilson may have the highest peak. He was a huge star for a few years

Bregman 27.9 WAR
Lemahieu 29.6 WAR
DJ is six years older than Bregman
Bregman at this point in his career is similar to HOF Billy Williams
DJ Is basically Howie Kendrick

this cat had a respectable 13-years in the Bigs with most of his career spent in TOR and ARI. Gotta love the Marucci loyalty.
DJ will surpass all of Hill's offensive stats in the next 1-2 yrs. DJ is a better fielder than Hill
Hill Steals Home

Belle was a monster hitter. Dude had 8 consecutive seasons of 30+ HRs (including seasons of 50, 49 and 48 HR) and 9 consecutive seasons of 100+ RBI (led the league 3 times) and managed to hit .295 for his career. He had 23 HRs and 100+ RBI in his last season in the majors. He killed it even in his last year.

Two. One in each league.
