I would be more worried if we had Kelly and Sloan on the sidelines. CLK gives me hope

Not really worried. I'm so confident in the defense that I dont think we are going to need to score as much as people think. I really dont think Ole Miss scores more than 20-24. People projecting 38-31 type scores I just dont see them putting up that number on our defense. As long as the offense can put up 24-27 points I think we are good.

We haven’t seen a lot of 25+ yard throws and completions. Sure we saw the nice catch for 40+ yards… That may be by design/game plan/hide the playbook. It also may be because of the QB.

QB10 has done a great job with 10+ play drives for sure.

QB11 maybe the guy to stretch the Ole Miss secondary.

In fairness, I bet a lot of QB's are going to struggle against LSU's ones.

worried? no

anxious? yes

I do trust Lane and Charlie to have a good gameplan, so that, for me, takes the worry away. The only concern is the level of play the backups have had, thus far in their careers.

That said, I expect to see #10 out there.

Oh no doubt and I hope so also. My main concern is OL play and them breaking down with a kid like Clark who is so fresh. And then add the road game and its just not an optimal situation.

I’m not for 2 reasons.

The first being he is not yet ruled out. This could be as simple as he is receiving physical therapy for soreness. We don’t know enough to panic. Also, Clark has looked more than capable.

The other is we almost beat this team last year with an injured Nuss and a defense that was really good. I think this years’ defense is on a whole other level. Add to that our nastiest player is really pissed off.

I’m still 50/50 on who will pull out the win. My heart says the good guys win. My head says not so sure. But it should be a match-up for the ages.

I agree, and if Sam doesn't finish the game, I think Clark can win it for us
I like him a lot, and Sam scares me.

Lane is just playing chess with Leavitt's situation. Lane knows what he is doing.

Not worried here. Been impressed with Clark since he signed. Like all our guys, actually.

It is what it is, but we have two of the best offensive minds in the game, Lane and Weiss…

They will create a game plan that best fits the QB they trot out there to give him the best chance to succeed under the circumstances…

We look as level-headed (with minimal penalties) as we did against Clemson and we win this.

I didnt "act" like anything. But yes, only a complete fricking moron, like yourself, would think there isnt a substantial drop, in certain areas, off between starter and backup, in this system under Kiffen...especially in a midweek change of availability.

Physically, Clark is more than capable. Sam was a question mark since signed, comming off the injury he had surgery to repair. The more time that passes, the better. But he was limited until just a few short months ago.

So i assume Clark has had ample reps in practice. OM doesnt have much film on him, if he plays. Where does that leave a top 5 team, on the road in the SEC, in a rivalry type game? No one knows till it happens.
