re: I’m worried about Marcus Davenport - ffhouston
I’m worried about Marcus Davenport
You're not alone. Looks bad, especially compared to how Hendrickson is showing out....

re: Here's what we can expect from Joe Brady and LSU's new offense - ffhouston
The comment in the article about the TE shift in the BYU game eliciting oohs and ahs made me legit LOL. Man, we are *starved* for a modern offense. I hope we *all* finally get "to eat", both fans and players, this season....

re: Melvin Gordon asking for trade: Should we? - ffhouston
Of teams where he'd be a good fit, I'd like to see the Texans as a trade partner rather than the Bucs, for obv reasons....

re: Obligatory now that MT is signed do we have enough for Kamara? - ffhouston
No, in part b/c AK is going to take it to the next level IRT his contract demands...and that's due, in part, to the Rams outlier contract for Gurley. Zeke has shakier ground to stand on in wanting a big deal than Kamara, simply because Alvin is more diverse in what he can do (and will do, if his ...

re: Theo Riddick visiting the Saints - ffhouston
I like it. Looks like an upgraded group on paper compared to the four RBs on the Week 1 roster last season: AK, Ingram, Boston Scott, Mike Gillislee...

re: Question about LSU vs. UCLA 2021 - ffhouston
I live out here. They will not move the game. UCLA has a contract with the Rose Bowl. Don’t stress about this.
Exactly. I appreciate the OP's thought process and intention, but there's a difference between, say, LSU opting for an alternate-site game instead of playing in its on-cam...

re: Mike Thomas contract thread: UPDATED info from Yahoo! - ffhouston
Certainly hope it gets done soon, because the front office will need all the time they can get to prepare for Kamara's extension next season. Don't want to see a Melvin Gordon or Zeke Elliot situation unfold 12 months from now....

re: On the new locker room - Breiden Fehoko: “You’ll pull in at least 4 or 5 more five-star, - ffhouston
What I like most about this is the real sense it gives to the players that they're appreciated. I know that I feel more motivated when working someplace where, from the facility I work in to the equipment I have to do my job, conditions are first-rate. That translates into higher morale and moti...

re: Eric Reid is up early trying to burn bridges with the LSU football program - ffhouston
I didn't interpret that as a shot at LSU at all, but rather on what he said (or implied): there's enough money to be made off the backs of these student-athletes to fund something (arguably) over the top (hence the Carolina reference), so they should get more than they do. That's a shot at the NC...

re: Anybody have more info or videos of the nutrition center? - ffhouston
Looking at his LinkedIn profile, he's been a chef for nearly 20 years and has extensive Louisiana experience (a native, I presume). Not sure why anyone would hate on this experience, unless it's something personal. :dunno: ...

re: NBC Sports: 2020 Draft Eligible QBs - ffhouston
His late-season push was notable, and I think scouts will be interested to see how he continues to progress this season. Definitely think he can be a second-day pick if he has a solid season....

re: Saints Uni's for 2019 season??? - ffhouston
The "little different" may be adjustments or tweaks that Nike is making (or at least I hope that's the case, because they are about perfect as-is, IMHO)....

re: Run-Pass Option offense breakdown by Eagle's Coach Doug Pederson - ffhouston
Not sure what it has to do with the Tigers
1. The revamped offense may (will-?) use similar concepts, so it's pretty relevant, IMO 2. Nick Foles ran that same offense at a very high level at times the past two seasons, and I think that Burrow's QB style is similar enough to warran...

re: What record would you be "okay" with this year? - ffhouston
10-6 is definitely the floor on a team that's (at a minimum) as good as last year's team and has (if you believe Strength of Schedule projections at all) an easy schedule. 12-4 sounds about right to me....
It was also "only Troy".
Well, I guess Les Miles could coach two teams on that day, as Kansas kicks off at 11am, but otherwise I think CEO will handle business and walk away with a win....
