I was in St Louis this past week and went to a cardinals game. They just constructed a "Ball Park Village" right beside their stadium and it's absolutely phenomenal. Would be a hit at LSU. There's a huge common area with a projector, a restaurant, bar/pub, hall of fame/museum, & they have a media room where they shoot their pre-game show. Would be cool to see LSU be the leader in bringing something similar to the collegiate level

Now this is the kind of suggestions I am looking for.

That would make a killing year-round, not just for baseball

I though i was the only one who missed these.

They were awesome

Also I would make an official press release declaring Tounces dead, and bring a malpractice suit against the design firm that birthed that abomination.

It's good to know I'm not the only one that misses this.

If I was AD, I'd change the way the student section was setup in the PMAC. I'd move the press and make that whole area behind the goal standing room student area. Move the band behind the students and make that place rock.

1. Id fire Joe in whatever position he was demoted to.

2. Go back to the mid 2000s pre Alleva traffic plan. You know the one with contraflow to highland and specific lanes for parking pass and non parking

should be fixed next season.

3. Cut down on the piped in music.

I'm not a fan, but every program does it. the players love it.

Yeah, let's tell the coach who's 103-27 over the past two seasons with a CWS appearance and 3 total conference titles that his arse is grass next year. Makes perfect sense.

5. Tell compliance to back off and tell the coaches that my head is turned.

What the frick? I don't know about you, but I actually enjoy winning while the NCAA stays out of our business. call me crazy.

I am sure it is as simple as that

If I was AD, I would immediately fire myself so I didn't have to put up with our fans.

Could have been fixed this season. Or the season before last. It was fixed when skip was here and he didnt waste a ton of money on consulting firms to do it.

BTW Alleva promised it would be fixed during the season after the consultants were there.

Or a guy who in 5 years has only made it to the super regionals twice and has made Omaha as many times as he has missed the whole tourney.

The NCAA is a spineless toothless organization and far be it from me to prevent an inner city kid getting he and his family a little help to make his way through college.

Well considering TAMU is the new kid, we are a charter member and getting screwed on our scheduling, CBS is losing a prominent yearly game for their network+ we have made untold amounts of money for the conference over the last decade then it should be. I would then begin talks with the Big 12 till Slive caves.

Adopt the following policy statement along with a mandate to the SEC office concerning a rotating schedule with no permanent opponents:

LSU Football Scheduling Guidelines
(Problem: only 6 home games per year unless you can buy off one of the cupcakes)

Annual Games (Home and Home) from the SEC West
Arkansas
Texas A&M
Alabama
Auburn
Ole Miss
Mississippi St.

Three Rotating Games (Home and Home) From the SEC East
Florida, South Carolina, Georgia
Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Missouri

* Three Rotating Out of Conference (Home and Home)
Not more than one team from a conference in a year
Notre Dame
Florida State, Clemson, Miami (Fl)
Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin
Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor
Southern California, Oregon, Arizona State

Pre-Season game – If Needed (at Neutral Site)
Team from a power conference including but not limited those mentioned above plus
Michigan St., Penn St., Nebraska, Rutgers
Texas Tech, West Virginia, Oklahoma St.
North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Louisville
UCLA, Washington, Stanford
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* If a cupcake game is needed schedule in lieu of one of the three OOC games
Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Northwestern, Purdue
Duke, Wake Forest
Kansas, Iowa St
Washington State, Utah, Colorado
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If a game because of scheduling problems must be from a non power conference it must be Boise St.,(catch Yellowstone and Denver area or Salt Lake City and Denver area on way home) BYU (Rocky Mts.), Fresno St. (Yosemite), Hawaii (speaks for itself) or Northern Illinois (Chicago and Great Lakes area). Under no circumstances will a game be scheduled with a Division II Team or a team from Louisiana.

I know this is not possible but …….

I'd love to have the block letters once a year for either Ole Miss or Florida game.

that was an awesome suggestion, it would be great to see it happen but I don't think it ever would here.

Not against a throwback game with the big block letters but definitely not for every game.

Greatly reduce the number of useless traffic police on game days

Sell cheap (by stadium standards) alcohol at LSU sporting events

Replace the jambalaya venders

Fire Javi Sanchez

Institute in game highlights on video boards during timeouts and commercial breaks

Remove or heavily reduce the price for on campus tailgate parking (particularly around the indian mounds, enchanted forest, greek theater, and parade grounds)

Explore potential to remodel pmac to add luxury box seats

Unleash the student section while encouraging tv crews not to mic them

Get less douchy people to work the student gate. Seriously, students are treated like criminals while the attendants at every other gate are courteous and polite.

Work with greek organizations to promote basketball. If we can get a few hot sorority girls to go to games regularly, the broskis and gdis will show up in droves

They did this at the end of last season. It was absurd and infuriating before.

I missed that. The last couple home games i used a season ticket-holder's seats and sold my student tickets because i was so disgusted with the student gate. My so's parents ended up getting season tickets for this year so we won't have to fight that hassle anymore

Well I must be honest , LSU has never been the leader in Super Nice Designs.

Alex Box isn't the most plush or well designed ball park. Oh it look Good inside the Grandstands, but the bleacher seats out side the infield for the Average fans is just BASIC!! Not much different then a High school ball park. The entrance looks weak. LSU has always asked all its fans to PAY tradition fees but its always the UPPER Class that get the spoil. Really starting to Suck to be honest.
