Tulane is the type of team Jones should feast on.

I agree.
I just think Beloso is the move in the postseason because of his experience and he doesn't struggle to hit changeups.
I'd love to see Jones mash a couple HRs for old times sake.

The only other person I would want in the leadoff spot right now would be Dugas but he is struggling because of his shoulder. So Crews is the best option in the leadoff spot.

Dugas to 9 hole unless he agrees to wear these

Wtf? the only lefties that are stacked are Beloso/Jobert and Pearson/Morgan. And Morgan shreds LHP.
So does Beloso

It would be impossible to frick up this lineup if we had a leadoff hitter.
Dugas underperforming is a HUGE underdiscussed problem with this team.

7. Dugas - 2B (he is due to come out of his slump)
He may be in a slump, but he hasn't hit at all in SEC play minus one big game. I think he's batting well below .200 in SEC play, even with that big game. The only reason to stick with Dugas is because there's nobody else and you always have the memory of Dugas getting hot.

Jobert needs a strong hitter behind him so I’d move him up ahead of Travinsky

Beloso has a good average this year, but it's a small sample size
Yeah, but he's done it over a career here. Beloso, when right, is an on-base machine.
Regardless, I trust in whatever Jay is going to do. They've been tinkering a bit all season and I feel like they're going to push all the right buttons starting Friday.

Well if they can’t get erect at this time of year, we don’t stand a chance

Tulane will not use carmouche against lsu.
Dugas 4
Morgan 3
Crews 8
White 5
Travs 2
Beloso dh
Jobert 9
Thompson 6
Pearson 7
Absolutely the defensive best line up with the bats that have doing anything at the plate.

who will they use so i can change my lineup

They like the Castro kid from Purdue, too. I think Castro is the better pitcher overall. Not sure if previous poster meant that Tulane would throw completely off against LSU or not, though.
ETA: I had somewhat played with the idea of a 4 throwing completely off against LSU, going with their 1 and 2 for games 2 and/or 3 in hopes that a regional thin in pitching would get diluted into a slug fest. I just don't know, though. Very risky.

I am not saying you are wrong, but why wouldn't they? They are playing the best baseball of their shite season and it is the only game they are assured to have their ace against a team's #3 pitcher.

Just rewatched some of the LSU/Tulane game and Beloso dominated their left handed pitching. I believe Tulane threw 4 lefties in this game. Tre and Beloso both had 3 hits and Jobert had 2. LSU had 18 hits in this game.
I assume they would be starting their ace here, but still nice to see we had such great success against several of their pitchers. They threw 10 different pitchers.
