What’s this “we” shite? Everyone knows you’re not an LSU fan and simply a troll.

True enough, we need to just ignore his posts. Imagine him starting one of his miserable posts and getting no replies, only downvotes.

Would be nice to see more 3-Run and 2-Run HRs this weekend from Jones, Travinski, and White.

We’ve already fricked ourselves but if we can win 1 up there and ball out the rest of the schedule we still have a shot at a postseason. The odds are unlikely this pitching staff can get us to 14 wins but who knows.

UTenn is probably the best hitting team we will have played. They've had at least one blow out win in every SEC series.

OTOH, their pitching is likely worse than the SEC teams we've played.

barring some 2008-esque run we will be hard pressed to get to 13-17 after starting 4-11.

We won like 28 straight games in ‘08

All it would take is 9-6 down the stretch to get from 4-11 to 13-17. That’s not even a “run”. There’s only 1 team with even a .500 SEC record left on the schedule. Combined opponent record of 21-39. Compared to our combined opponent record in the first half of 38-22.

LA Tech guys can root for LSU and vice versa. They’re not sports rivals.

The season is toast. in order for this team to be .500 in sec play they need to go 12-6 the rest of the conference schedule. The facts are this team isn't good this year. Those guys may play better down the stretch and next year but this season is lost.

Methinks one win this weekend should be considered a success.

Gotta lower the Mendoza line for this underperforming Tiger outfit-- LSU baseball turns my guts this year.

There is no “win every year” anymore. We had two generational players last year, both maybe the all-time bests at their position at LSU, and BARELY won a natty. If that’s all Jay does for the next decade, he still deserves every cent of his salary. If we get back to Omaha 2-3 times during that span, be happy. But with so many programs putting so much money into facilities and rosters, the 90s ain’t never comin’ back. Be glad for the 7, and hope you are still alive to see #8 whenever the stars align again. No one is going to just take the L because it says LSU on our jerseys!

With our schedule in the Second Half we can lose this series and still be ok. The Margin of Error will be Very Small but it can still be doable.

Ummm... We are already fricked. At this point you can't even say with 100% certainty that they will make the SEC tournament.

Who can at this point? It’s 12 games in for most teams.

There’s still time if they can handle the backend schedule.

Tony V is sitting at 7-7 right now against LSU in his tenure at UT.

So will Tennessee enter team. They are leading the country in home-runs now. And by the way, the Vols are hitting homeruns every game, including the games away from
Knoxville.

And yet UT sits at 7-5 in the conference after all those HR's, look at UK at 12-1 after a win at AU yesterday. Anything can happen.
