We been saying that the last few series. If we lose this series people will just move the goalpost again and say the next series is do or die.

Getting swept would basically doom this team

They would almost have to sweep remainder of sec schedule and that’s not possible with the way this team is playing

Because LSU baseball has never lost the first 4 SEC series in their history and now they may easily lose their first 5. That’s historic failure.

Yes we have to fire Jay now

Meh, if we get swept this wknd it's over. If we simply lose the series, the season's on life support.

It's fair to call this series must win... barring some 2008-esque run we will be hard pressed to get to 13-17 after starting 4-11.

Now, sweep one or more of Mizzou, Auburn and Ole Miss and we could be back in business. Not fair to ever expect a sweep in the SEC tho, esp with this teams game 3 struggles.

And there’s nothing that tRant and you posters love more than LSU failure. What else would ya’ll have to post about?!?

but JJ is underwhelming to this point.

I know it hurts, but he won a national championship in year two and year three his lineup was decimated, but he’s not good enough for you. This season has been frustrating, to say the least, but it’s clear the talent isn’t there, yet. Stop exposing yourself as an idiot. Your schitck has become stale and exhausting.

Jones will homer in each game in that band box.

So will Tennessee enter team. They are leading the country in home-runs now. And by the way, the Vols are hitting homeruns every game, including the games away from
Knoxville.

band box.

Yup it’s so small, is that why the Vols are leading the country in doubles? How’s that possible when the park is smaller and get to the ball quicker?

Are you seriously trying to argue that Tennessee's park isn't small?

It’s a 10ft difference all the way around. Meaning warning track outs in the box are HR’s in Knoxville. 10ft doesn’t make much difference on doubles when you hit it in the gap or down the line. The main concern should be the batting average that correlates to leading the country doubles. They are good at hitting the ball.

Tn has scored 51 runs in their last 3 games, gonna need a lot more scoring than Jones, Trav and white

Tennessee opponents in conference play have posted a 10.44 ERA, 2.01 WHIP, and a .331 BAA across 91 innings.

Vols have been dominating other team pitchers this year so far. If same trend continues with the Vols, LSU will get game 1 and the Vols get games 2 and 3. Good luck and look forward to meeting the LSU fans that make the trip.

I’ll take game 1 and a prayer for next two days. I’d love a series win in the worst way, but I don’t think this is the weekend.

Ya know, we can have a bad season every now and then if we are actually winning national championships as well. It's not the end of the world. Just enjoy it for what it is.

It is incredibly stupid to speak in absolutes. It is a lesson that many of you should have learned by now, but your hard-headedness/dumbness prevents rational thought. I would have thought that continuously having stuff like this come back and bite you in the arse would be a good teacher, but some people will never learn I suppose.
