Of course fans stay if it's close. That's a pretty easy thing to say.

Fans leave when we're losing by 21 or up by 21.

It’ll be a madhouse if it’s close in the 4th. We’ve been waiting for this for years.

The margin of victory for every SEC game in Tiger Stadium last year was 7 points or fewer, one even went to OT.

It depends on how it gets close. The the score is Tenn 28, LSU 3, at half time and then the Tigers make adjustments and get to 28 - 24 with an early touchdown in the 4th Q, there will not be 75K in Tiger Stadium.

"Fans leave when we are down 21 or up 21"? Not sure where your seats are, but you obviously have a poor view of the stadium. The AU game last year was close all game long & the stadium was no where near 75K at the end. The fat cat crowd at midfield, both sides of the stadium, start bailing at half time. This has been going on for decades now.

Most fans will have already died from skin cancer by the 4th quarter.

Fans stay for these day games. They leave early when it's a night game.

BRING ON MORE DAY GAMES!

If Tennessee is winning in 2nd half there will be more Tennessee fans in stadium than LSU fans

I have 6 tickets, 2 in South Stadium Club and 4 on goal line SE corner. All being used and we leave at end of game no matter outcome.

Not anymore. There are thousands of fans that leave at halftime regardless of the score. Some go back to tailgates to watch the end. Some want to beat the traffic so they go home to watch the end. I'm willing to bet their will be a not so insignificant number of LSU fans who leave early tomorrow because they don't want to sit in the sun/heat any longer.

You have to remember, for many attending the game is a social event with the actual game not being the primary reason for attending. That includes the student section.

IMO, the primary reason is the prevalence of cell phones. When I first started going to games once you got into the stadium you essentially could not contact the outside world or anyone else in the stadium other than the few people around you. Thus, you couldn't call your buddy on the other side of the stadium to see if he wanted to leave early. You couldn't call your friends who didn't go to the game to see what they were doing. You were largely unaware of any other potential options for something to do...so you just stayed for the entirety of the game. Particularly if you rode with someone who wasn't sitting next to you. What were you going to do? Leave early and just HOPE your buddy had the same thought? Of course not, you just stayed until the end because you didn't want to just walk around outside the stadium alone waiting for the game to end.

Feel like a majority of people will still be tailgating after the game is over at 2:30. Don’t think people will be in a rush to get home
