Come on man!!!!

Lets suit up, play them and make the evaluation.

Will say this, loved Les while he was here but you could see the program moving in the wrong direction. Not so sure about O but we will see. They do have one heck of a schedule this year.

I guess on one level it's smart- it's easier to accomplish, and probably cheaper.

They did just guarantee a DC $10 million, increase the support staff exponentially, and start a complete renovation of a still relevant football ops building. It’s hard to say LSU is going on the cheap right now.

Peanuts. And you're falling for the "we're spending, see?" gimmick.

A quick look at the SEC:
Jimbo Fisher Texas A&M $7.5 million
Nick Saban Alabama $7.125 million
Kirby Smart Georgia $7 million
Gus Malzahn Auburn $6.7 million
Dan Mullen Florida $6.3 million
Will Muschamp South Carolina $4.2 million
Mark Stoops Kentucky $4 million
Jeremy Pruitt Tennessee $3.8 million
Ed Orgeron LSU $3.5 million
Chad Morris Arkansas $3.5 million
Matt Luke Ole Miss $3 million
Derek Mason Vanderbilt $2.7 million
Joe Moorhead Mississippi State $2.6 million
Barry Odom Missouri $2.4 million

Those are just HC's in the SEC. That shows that A&M, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and Fla are all paying the head coach more than we're paying Orgeron AND Aranda (6 mil a year combined). And remember Ensminger is getting only 800 grand, so that doesn't push the total over 7 mil for HC and both coordinators.

Yes, we're going the cheaper route. We're middle of the pack now, and we are ahead of South Carolina only because we pay our DC 1.3 million more than they pay theirs.

I'm always excited for the season to start. The measurement of a good coach is how you're feeling once the the season ends.

I am excited as much as ever miles or not. Hell finally I can have hope that it won’t be the dead arse archaic offense that we always saw under Les. The D is fine under Aranda. Especially with the front 7 depth and talent this year compared to last years D-depth that lacked experience and time n the program. And Sullivan and Cregg are upgrades and bring serious NFL type knowledge to the offensive game planning

No, I expected 9-10 wins his last few years as coach and held out hope I would be wrong and they would somehow win the championship
So we've come from expecting 9-10 wins to skeptical hoping for 8-9 and babbling about hard schedules that have been the norm for years.
Seamless progress for sure.

Do you really think that all the coaches and players read all this BS and are effected negatively by the words written here?

I am always excited about football season. I mean, who isn't? However, I can remember being excited about the season and go, oh shite, how will Les bring down the talent level this year, or what will he screw up, how predictable will the offense be, etc....

Yes expectations would be higher because les was a proven winner and expected to keep on winning. Coach O has won 9 games so far so anything beyond that is an improvement.

I went into every season after 1/9 waiting for Les to go full retard and he never disappointed me even once.
Would you define “full retard” as losing to Alabama in overtime or losing to Troy? Losing to Auburn at the last second or losing to Sate by 30?

How many schools wanted to hire O? I know he publicly asked for a shot at the Syracuse job and they wouldn’t even interview him.

I always get excited for football, but Les' stubbornness, his disrespect towards fans by talking in gibberish and his boring arse miserable, predictable & ineffective offenses were total buzz killers.

Les definitely cost Leonard Fournette the Heisman. I am very happy that Les was fired.

Lester sucked the last 3 or 4 years. I think he got a point that he didn't give a shite! I for 1 are glad he is gone!
