Prediction: they won't play them. In fact, they might not even roster them.
The legal risk is just too high.
Even if an injunction is issued next Thursday (likely given the Judge), the NCAA will appeal, and a motion to stay will most likely be granted, and then players will be ineligible again. No point in going through the various scenarios, but a lot of them end with the SEC issuing penalties.

Prediction: ASSUMING the Thursday ruling if favorable to the players, they WILL be on the LSU roster and Kiffin WILL put them into games...maybe not the first game or two because they haven't practiced with the team and don't know what kind of shape they are in

That's certainly a possible outcome. I could see them playing if an injunction is issued on Thursday that still includes the SEC, and it survives the appeal process through the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the CFP doesn't ban pro players.

I think the much greater risk is to the SEC and NCAA for making an arbitrary and prejudicial decision affecting a group of athletics who should have had a right to make a living. I lived a lawsuit by a very powerful Fortune 500 company 35 years ago. We won and these players will win. LSU is on the right side of this issue and the SEC and NCAA have to be VERY careful how they pursue this case. My prediction is they will drop any further action against these young people.
This is a much bigger issue than should LSU play these guys. This is about a group of fairly powerless athletes up against a powerful monopoly that is trying to force their unconstitutional might against individuals and it's a serious violation of their civil rights. The NCAA will relent and the SEC will have no choice but to comply.
