Because LSU’s coaches used it a motivation for our team. “They will not leave us open like that or we will make them pay.”
Guess what? Our girls had their best 3 point shooting night of the year. Many players for LSU were hitting their 3s.
I would say the motivational tactic worked.

Look, she's obviously got a bone to pick with her, but I think it's fair to say that Clark is the better overall player.

When has the losing team ever been invited to share the stage? It’s insulting to the nth degree and Reese SHOULD take offense.

I'll just add one thing because I haven't seen it mentioned. Over the course of the entire weekend there is no way that I would have even known who Iowa was playing in the final if I were not an LSU fan. The media decided not to even cover the matchup, simply to cover the hot thing at the moment, Clark. Which is or isn't fine, I don't know/care. But, I can't imagine being an LSU player and watching any of the coverage and just seeing 100% Clark. I had seen the "wave-off" 100 times by the time the game started. Hell it would have frustrated me as any of the other players on the Iowa team. It was a bit bizarre. No mention of matchups, strategies, previous games, the fact that LSU only lost 2 games all year. So I really can't blame any of the LSU players and their opinions after what the media was bringing into the game. Heck, it could even be said it wasn't fair to Clark.

Reese has already said she had an issue with things Clarke said to Morris in addition to their treatment of the SC girls.
