I’m actually glad that the team answered the call from a shite talking stand point.

Traditionally we’ve always kept our heads down and let it wash over us.

This team said frick that, and gave it back and backed it up. I liked it.

I agree. And this might sound weird but I think Vitello has found a new respect for LSU in that way. Because hes a big believer in that bull shite. Hence the comment "Almost had my pinky finger taking off" comment in the post game. I think Jay let him know that we can play this game too.

After the walkoff..

I have watched every conceivable replay of the Friday night walkoff and was at the Sunday game low behind home plate. I specifically watched the dugouts reaction to big plays for both sides (which after the first 15 minutes, the Vols contributed very little) along with all of the deadball interactions. What we did on Friday night would've been an issue 20 years ago, but in todays world, was average for any typical walk-off in any big game, and far less than what you would see in say an Ole Miss/State or Alabame/Auburn game.

Compare that to what Tenn was doing in the first two innings of Sundays game at the first pitch. You have the entire Vols team on the top step of the dugout singing chanting in unison like a high school student section, every batter had to stare down Evans after each at bat, when we tied it up 2-2, they were trying to invent a reason to come at Hernandez crossing the plate. Even simple actions were a subtle jab at the opponent or umpire. The Vitello version 2.0 first base coach had a 10-15 second conversation about balls and strikes at the end or beginning of each half inning. The petty shite was borderline comical.

TLDR at this point, but I give some credit to Tenn on Sunday. The bat flip from Jake Brown was something Tenn had every right to take offense too, but they had also just walked a two hole hitter to pitch to him instead. They looked like the '27 Yankees in the first inning and ended up getting run ruled during which there was a lot of petty shite from both teams late (us bunting up 7, them throwing over to first a dozen times to hold a runner on down 7) yet, it never got out of control and Vitello did stand there (or sat there, its tough to tell with him) and take his arse beating and admitted as much afterwards.

yes, you can.

Again I will provide the video for all to see.

Anyone who thinks this is charging the dugout is mentally ill and needs help. Apparently they needed more tit time with their momma. Either that , or daddy got mad at them too many times for being a loser as a kid.

And didn't that little SS also chirp something at Jared Jones whil ehe was at first? It was pretty funny watching him try to talk shite looking way up in the air

That kid is a total prick who cant hit his weight. It sucks to be him because his glove is next level. It is tough to describe unless you see him in person but his glove action is insanely smooth and he makes it look effortless in the field.

I would think part of his inability to hit is due to him having a constant ball/strike dialog with umpires during and after every at bat. They have to be sick of his shite.

IMO, the antics have reached absurd proportions in college baseball. However, with no real fear of "self-policing", the players continue to do it. But bitching about LSU celebrating a walk-off HR is not the spot to complain. There's nothing wrong with raw emotion coming out there.

3 different scenarios:

1. Curiel pumped after driving in the game-tying run in a two out, bottom of the 9th comeback? Go crazy

2. Jones hitting a 500 foot HR to end the game? Go crazy.

3. The Tenn. SS shortstop staring down the LSU pitcher thinking the pitcher was trying to intentionally throw at the head of the worst hitter in the TN lineup on a 3-1 count? You're a tool.

I don’t care what Tennessee fans say or think. They can take that L all the way home. Losers

I would gladly lock arms with my fellow tigah fans and louisianamal athletes and show them what a real dugout charge looks like! Maybe in hoover we can make it happen and send those hillbillys home in the er!

But after he came home the whole team ran at the Tennessee dugout.

Please. Watch the overhead view. Jones was the only one who got anywhere close and they immediately changed directions and went around to the other side of the stadium. This was the definition of a tempest in a teapot. UT fans were mad that they lost and would have latched onto anything.

The Hillbilles midget shortstop caused the whole thing after Jones home run. He was mouthing off and lingering near home plate. So glad we beat their Azz.

Isn’t Tennessee the team that had a player (Jordan Beck) flip off Georgia Tech in a regional as he was rounding first base Classy…
