Sorry but whatever happens, this is the hill to die on.
The SEC did jack shite to Bama for playing a guy who spent 3 years in the G League
The SEC did jack shite to Ole Miss for having a starting QB who (I believe) is still technically ruled ineligible by the NCAA and who is in his 6TH YEAR!!
The SEC is doing jack shite to other schools who have signed players who spent time in NFL “minicamps” but not “training camps”
So there is clearly selective enforcement here by the SEC and it is clear that Sankey has real personal animosity towards LSU.
Every school has to be held to the same rules and standards and if the SEC cant or wont do that then fight it to the end
If we lose we lose but what the SEC is doing is wrong and anyone with an objective eye can see it.
Besides, no matter what the courts decide, I have a real hard time believing when all is said and done that the SEC will actually kick out a charter member who is also one of the biggest brands in the country.

Dude…I am 58 years old. Idgaf about Sankey and his cronies in Alabama. Bout time someone from LSU stood up to that biased POS. frick Sankey. If he dies tomorrow, I wouldn’t give a frick. The SEC has fricked LSU many times while placating Alabama. If you’re scared of Sankey, then say you’re scared. That motherfricker shits like everyone else.

You sure about that? Because of them testified today that he never practiced, was rehabbing an injury and received a total of $190 for gas

Federal case is basically saying LSU and the Louisiana judges are being mean to the SEC and it's not fair. First they have to prove that which doesn't seem like will be very easy. If the season isn't over by then, worst-case, those players will have to remain on the roster (by Louisiana judge's order) but won't be able to play (if SEC wins the federal case).

Here’s the problem, you don’t even bother to find out the facts before making declarations or you are intentionally lying. Either way it means you are full of shite.
Zxavian Harris did not suit up for or play in an NFL preseason game. Fact.

It's crazy they are singling LSU out like this. LSU should easily counter this.

POST THE PICTURES
I'll wait. Did they suit up like this guy, who somehow is NOT considered a "former pro", and is currently playing for Texas?

Here’s some peace and serenity for you: LSU would be just fine if they left the SEC. We would be treated better elsewhere. LSU can’t be punished. Not now, not retroactively. If we leave the conference it will be of our own choosing, and we’d get welcomed anywhere.
The courts can’t let someone be punished retroactively for confidently following the guidance and order of another court, even if the new court strikes it down.

Sankey proved-under oath-that he is nothing but a figurehead. And a horrible one at that.

A thoughtful post. Thank you.

Then why go through all of this hell to get them eligible to just decide not to roster them and all this was for absolutely nothing? That would be dumb to not roster them at this point.

The point is the SEC says they must enforce their rules in spite of s court ruling- but not the ruling on Pavia or Chamblis. And furthermore there were 7 SEC athletes in this case, they ate suing LSU over 2 of them. What about the other 5? One will play for Vanderbilt on Saturday apparently. Thats ok. Just stop LSU.

also would like LSU to reconsider rostering these players. Just want this shite to be over with and play some ball.
That's all well and good, but we've crossed the Rubicon now

I do not like hangers on like Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt, for example, running roughshod over a program like ours but that is just the way it is.
Don’t kid yourself for a second.
Georgia and Bama may be piling on because they feel brave in doing so. But this whole mess has Keith Carter’s (Ole Miss AD) fingerprints all over it. Vindictive over losing Kiffin.
