Nope. We need a new QB, new OL, new DL, new LBs and possibly a new defensive staff. And we play Texas, Texas A&M, Bama, Ole Miss on top of Clemson and Tennessee. It'll be impressive if he makes the playoffs in year 1.
We're getting 1-2 QBs from the portal regardless with only walk-ons returning behind MVB. So it's just a matter of whether we get an experienced P4 starter or just depth pieces. With Hurley leaving, I imagine we'll get one of each and if MVB can win the job, great. Unless we flip Duckworth or someone, we don't have a freshman in this upcoming class.
Nice work. Sydir Mitchell and Stamps are gone.

I didn't realize we could actually have decent WR experience next year depending on who comes back. I assumed they were pretty much all seniors.
wouldn't be too surprising honestly with OC/QB coach change
He was a 3-star when he committed to LSU
LSU’s first decommitment since the firing of Brian Kelly.

He'll probably rotate through all our QBs even our walk ons
A&M looks as complete as anyone. They're gonna be a problem in the SEC and could easily make the playoffs

It's wild that we didn't even attempt to run the ball. It's one thing for the run game to be ineffective, but it's another to not even try. I'm not sure there was a game plan if Ole Miss kept dropping 8 in coverage and we decide to keep throwing anyway.
It's obvious he wants to take the Ohio State path of last year's championship. Don't want to unleash our elite running and passing game to catch teams off guard, do just enough to make the playoffs and then unleash the beast! /s
I didn't think of it as much as him celebrating as him laughing at the absurdity of him cutting inbounds and busting such a long run.

At least he can still redshirt

I assume Coen Echols. He has experience at center.
Because then they can't have a schedule release show.
Yea it's unsurprising, but absurd. Obviously Hurley or Picarella should start next week.
I did. They were gashing us in the first half with the screens. Presumably we adjusted or they got away from that and didn't have much success running the ball, so it all came down on Lagway. Then they got behind, and became one-dimensional and he started forcing it way too much. You could very easily see Nuss doing this in a similar situation except he has way more experience, way more talent around him, and the coaches have told him to just take what's there. Whereas UF seems to be leaning on Lagway who's a true sophomore who didn't have much of an offseason due to injury.

It's a shitty situation to be in, and this schedule/season honestly may break him mentally.
We've not recruited well from Duckburg historically. Scrooge McDuck usually puts a fence around that area, so he'll be tough to land
I heard a lot of talk in camp of him having to be very handsy because of his size and likely will get called for PI a lot so that's my concern with him. But he did play well on Saturday so maybe it was just because our WR room is so stacked.

BK when asked today said the best guys were out there so doesn't seem like injury or punishment. Seems like Stamps just got passed in the last week or so
