Does stankey realise the sec pays its players millions. They're making a big deal about kids that spent a short time in a nfl training camp. Crazy.

Let's suppose we did get kicked out of the SEC or decided to leave on our own then where are we going to go?

Unlikely to happen... We will most likely stay in the SEC like a sanctioned pariah and financially bankrupt.

If we do chose to leave it will be for the Big12.

The Big10 will not take us because we are not an AAU member institution.
The ACC handcuffs its team so they cannot leave. It is better to go to the Big12.

Ultimately the playoffs will expand to 24 and then the conference membership and play will be moot. So the pathway to the playoff will become easier....

ude…I am 58 years old. Idgaf about Sankey and his cronies in Alabama. Bout time someone from LSU stood up to that biased POS. frick Sankey. If he dies tomorrow, I wouldn’t give a frick. The SEC has fricked LSU many times while placating Alabama. If you’re scared of Sankey, then say you’re scared. That motherfricker shits like everyone else.

I would piss on his grave.

You see, it’s posts like this from people who don’t have their facts straight that chap my arse.

LSU has to roster the players. The judge is making them do so in order to protect LSU.

The conference collapsed because the 4 biggest schools left.

The ruling says LSU "must" roster them or "can" roster them?

They would be in violation of a court order if they don’t roster them btw
this makes zero sense

Court order is that they can play, not that the must play

Aren’t “tryouts” a thing?

Does permission = a guaranteed right?

I don’t understand why the media continues to only shine a spotlight on LSU. This guy names the 2 LSU players and then just casually throws in “and several others.” Several others at other universities.

Future rulings and decisions would subject LSU to penalties and sanctions. Possibly black balled from post-season. It’s not worth the risk to play these players.

We could join the NFL, since we have NFL players on the team. Who needs the SEC. The Baton Rouge Tigers.

then they'll sue us.

They can also Sue the SEC for their actions and preventing them from playing this year, hurting future earnings.

Judge basically forcing us to roster

Neither LSU nor SEC is in control at this point.

This isn’t the popular opinion obviously, but it’s the correct one. It’s the intelligent one. And it’s the considered one.

I find it amusing how you can really gauge the collective intelligence of the people on this board by the number of downvotes versus upvotes in response to posts like this one. It’s actually fairly sad.

Scott Van Pelt said it best last night, as did someone else above: the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
