The CFP committee is full of gutless cowards who choose the path of least resistance at every turn, as Moscona said.
They have proven that they value records over strength of schedule once again. Miami, Utah, and Indiana have barely played anybody and they are in the Top 5 over almost the entire SEC. Furthermore, Indiana has looked mediocre in almost every game, but their 1-loss record puts them in the Top 5 regardless.

I think we should just get rid of the CFP committee and bring back the BCS rankings. The Top 24 teams in the BCS rankings can play in the playoffs.
At least that would reduce some human bias by having input from computer polls.

BCS with the computers was the purest ranking system there was.

LSU has to win out.
They aren't putting a 3 loss LSU over any other 3 loss team.
And we will have plenty 3 loss teams.

Agreed. Just go to 100% computer rankings and take the human aspect out of the equation.

They will put a 3 loss Bama team with a loss to LSU in before a 3 loss LSU team
Hell, with Bama at 5 and LSU at 14, they will likely still have Bama ahead of us next week even if we win

Lol. With the way the polls have done LSU this year, they’ll be lucky to even crack the top 10 if they beat Alabama. LSU will have to beat both Alabama and Texas to even get close to the top 5. And even then the CFP committee won’t want to put LSU in there.

I think people are being a bit too pessimistic. If LSU outright beats Texas and Alabama we are at worst getting in over one of those two teams.
But to be safe let’s just win out anyway

Correct. What is the point of having them? That's so much work that isn't needed anymore. If you are the 25th team out I think you can undersdtand not whining about it.
