Here’s the thing too about 2025 OM. And not to take away from what they accomplished. But football is funny, and sometimes things just fall in place one season and can’t be counted on the next.
OM beat a bad UK team by a TD, bad Arkansas team by 6, poorly-coached LSU by 5, bad Washington St by 3. They very easily could have lost 2 more games. I don’t think you can count on being on the winning side of those games this year. Especially when you factor in a very unproven head coach and new offensive staff that may not be able to push the same buttons as an experienced combo of Kiffin and Weis.
Maybe it’s more that I hope that is what happens. I could be completely wrong because I do think OM is extremely talented. But I’ll be surprised if they win 9 games. It’s not out of the question that they could start 1-2, and who knows how they’d react to that.

9-3 won’t sniff the playoffs

10-2 is my expectation every year. Maybe this year will be the first time since 2019 these expectations are met or exceeded?

@ Aub is always a tough place to get a W. Road game @ old myth should be interesting. Home games against 8&4, bammer, and texass helps our chances but tough games to win. 9-3 would be a great start to Lane's tenure here. Go 10-2, and probably in the playoffs where anything can happen. Vegas is damn good at these things. There's a reason they have the over, for wins, at 8.5.

I dont think we lose to Auburn but I dont think we will win all 3 of Bama, Texas, and Tennessee.

9-3 with this schedule should get playoffs
And thats the bottom line for Year One

Chambliss is pretty damn good. The new oc learned under Weis/kiffin and also under some other great offensive coaches.
I think chambliss is going to have another great yr.

who cares? He doesn't know any more than anybody else. Just play the games, then we'll all know.
GFY with this dumbass response. This message board is for discussion, do you not understand that, dipshit?

I dont disagree with the record prediction, but the Tenn game is the one that has potential loss written all over it. Right after Bama and Texas, on the road in Neyland most likely at night..no bueno.

Was he at OM previously? I thought he was coming from ECU but not sure about before that

well if Hunt Palmer said it then it must be true. lol

Hunt Palmer has the following allegences and order of importance:
1) Chicago Cubs
2) LSU Baseball
3) LSU/NBA basketball
4) Saints
5) LSU Football.
If you listen to his shows, this is pretty accurate. He’s NOT an LSU football diehard by any means
In fact, having never met Coach Lane Kiffin (he admitted as much on air), I’d say he probably doesn’t care for him much

Hunt the loser should stick to baseball.

Hunt is a baseball guy trying to play football expert.
Ignore him

It is all simply a guess. Everyone tries to place a team in preseason based on how the individual players stack up. Stats, star rankings and past honors don't make a team. Given that LSU has so many new players it really makes it hard. So I think 9-3 is actually the high point. More likely is 8-4 and the low point 7-5. But the great thing is that the team has a chance to be the best until proven otherwise. So geaux tigers and hope for no injuries.
