It depends on how good of a play by play announcer she was.
Some of the ones they have on television now just have irritating voices.

I'd probably, at first be like, that's kinda odd. Then after a few minutes completley forget and focus on my Tigers getting the W.
I care very little about radio or TV personalities calling games. Half the time I'm watching 4 games (YouTube TV) with most of them muted anyway...

I agree. Back then I would dig out my radio for a game and tune into WWL. I would hear his voice, and I knew it was on like Donkey Kong. Saturday night in Tiger Stadium!

If she's good, it would come out alright. But there's nothing like the steady strength of a man's voice in a man's sport.

With radio being streamed on LSU sports app & tv being streamed or on network, you can always synch up both feeds to your liking. I usually intentionally put the radio about 3-4 seconds ahead, so I can know the play right before I see it.

Lots of people are saying doesn't matter, say they don't listen to the game on the radio or who cares if it's a female.
Maybe it's because I'm older, but I still associate LSU sports with a recognizable voice (Hawthorne, and now Blair). I think it would detract from the experience, because I've yet to meet a woman in person who cares about sports like guys do.
