How would you react if the radio play-by-play voice for LSU football was a woman?

The University of Washington took that brave step today.
Elise Woodward new Washington Football Voice
Seattle gonna Seattle, so I don't think they care. I could see a riot occurring here, however.

I’d be completely indifferent because I’ve never once listened to the radio play-by-play.

They couldn't be any worse than Blair.

Why would that make any difference? Much ado about nothing.

Haven't listened to LSU football radio broadcast in at least a decade. Thankfully all major sports being televised or streamed now has eliminated the need to listen to a local radio broadcast of a game.

More than likely would tune out…

I mean if she was the best candidate, the call is easy to follow, and the voice is good then what's the problem. She has years of experience doing play by play for WNBA basketball and ties to Washington as a sideline reporter.

Woke center of the universe. I went to the LSU washington game in Seattle, we were charged an extra $50 for only having two people in the car and could not park near campus for that reason.

Depends on her tits, obviously

Need to see her nudes to make an informed opinion.

It could be an improvement from LSU’s current voice of the tigers. Because the current guy sucks

I could get behind it if she talked dirty during time outs.

If she is good at the job, why would I care?
Posted on 7/29/26 at 8:08 pm to LSUGrad9295
depends on how good she is

It being a man or woman doesn't really matter if she's good at it. It might take me awhile to get used to, but I rarely listen to it for football. Basketball and baseball a pretty good bit, football, only when I have to.

I may be in the minority here, but I fricking hate to listen to ESPN/SEC announcers. I synch up the radio broadcast with the muted TV & have done that for years. I love listening to Chris Blair in the booth live, & then rewatch the game later with the TV idiots. Maybe Fowler & Herbstreit are listenable, but you can have McDonough/McElroy & Tessitor/Palmer, etc. My ears would bleed if I had to listen to those assholes for 4 hours. I also like Gordy on the sidelines with injury updates & such.
