It will be the first time since the 50s that Texas has played at Tiger Stadium. 1953 to be exact

So really no one alive in Texas's fanbase has been to TS.

I'm looking for them to rival what Georgia brought here in 2018.

I'm thinking about making a trip into town for this and just see what thoughts on this were.

There is going to be a shite ton of Texas fans. Which will be sad considering what may be at stake.

None of them have ever been here, its pretty easy to get to either driving or flying to MSY, and they have the money to buy up all our tickets. And LSU fans will happily sell.

It’ll be like the UGA fans in 2018, when they came and played us.

Put their band on top the PMAC.

They will travel well and possibly could be a loud 30%.

Probably pretty well. Hopefully we allocate a good portion of the upper deck for those good folks

None have watched Texas play in TS but many have been to a game in TS.

I would expect a big showing for this game. This one has been circled for a while and I hope they receive the full opposing fan experience. Piss balloons optional.

As they should. My Texas buddy is going to come to the game. Should be a good game.

Maybe not after they've already lost two games (Ohio State and one more) before they get to us.

The fanbase will have cooled off on their team by mid-November, as they realize yet again this year they aren't as good as the hype.

Idk why you are getting downvoted for telling the truth. I realized UT was on a different playing field than LSU when they played in the CFP the year before they joined the SEC. I flew into MSY and every bit of free space at both the new and old airport had private jets parked. I’m talking hundreds if not over 1000 private jets. Luckily LSU has found a few generous donors to keep us in the NIL hunt but UT fans on average put LSU fans to shame when it comes to money to blow.

This. I'd expect a high turnout of orange since it's their first trip in forever, like Georgia. We just have to execute. If both teams are in the top 10, it might be a return trip for Gameday. Should be a good atmosphere.

I beg to differ . The LSU alumni in Los Angeles out spent the Texas alumni easily. Bart, who owned the sports bar where LSU and Texas viewed the games said 50 LSU fans would outspend 200 Texas fans. We (LSU) got the best spot in the bar to view the games because of this. That bar was Mr. Pockets. Unfortunately Pockets closed several years ago . It was a great place to watch games. They may have more wealthy alums, but when it comes to what the average fan spends, there aren’t many schools that can hang with LSU. That’s a fact !!!
