The answer is surprisingly, just one

Kiffin's not coming to LSU. He's just using this to squeeze Ole Miss.

100% of his road wins were on the road.

The point is to compare what pre-Kiffin Ole Miss did, to what they’ve done with Kiffin.

Ole Miss gave Lane a 10 million dollar roster to miss the playoffs with last year.

The "well it's just Ole Miss" stuff from people on here doesn't fly when they've been spending a ton on their football program/rosters the past few seasons with NIL. The Ole Miss job looks way different than it did even a decade ago. This season has definitely been Lane's best coaching job up to this point but it is at least pointing out some holes in his resumé like the road struggles and the choke job of a season last year.

He’s 0-0 as LSU’s head coach.

With the easiest schedule in the entire SEC.

This is the best way to look at it. Lane has holes just like Amy coach out there not named nick Saban.

I just feel like he will win most of his games at lsu and it will be fun.

Pretty sure LSU would not let Kiffin coach another season if he missed the playoffs by going 9-3 with losses to Kelly, Napier, and Stoops

I don’t even think this season has been all that difficult for him. Who have they played??

They win at home against us in a game that had no business being close. That win is starting to age like our win against Clemson.

Georgia beat the brakes off of them, and OU will end up with at least four losses.

Their remaining schedule is a joke, and they haven’t really beaten anyone of note.

And to slow down our coaching hire. It’s why the extension hasn’t been announced. Have us waste time on this which hurts recruiting and portal hunting this season

Here are the best teams since 2020.

Georgia 67-8-0 89.3% 20.6 +0.8
Ohio St 61-9-0 87.1% 22.2 +2.1
Alabama 65-11-0 85.5% 20.1 +0.8
Oregon 56-14-0 80.0% 15.1 +0.7
Michigan 56-14-0 80.0% 15.2 +2.7
Notre Dame 59-15-0 79.7% 16.7 +5.8
J Madison 35-10-0 77.8% 15.2 +4.5
BYU 53-18-0 74.7% 9.8 +2.9
Mississippi 51-19-0 72.9% 11.7 +1.9

Ole Miss is 9th in winning, they are better than LSU right now. LSU's perception in the College Football Industry is a mess right now. Nick Saban mind you said why would Lane leave? He is going to make the 12 team playoff at Ole Miss before LSU is.

so you go back 4 coaches and nearly 20 years ago?

Houston Nutt won 2 in only 3 seasons
Hugh Freeze won 4 in 5 seasons
Matt Luke won 1 in his first season

before O:
David Cutcliffe won 3 in 6 years
Tommy Tuberville won 2 in 4 years

Kiffin finally winning 1 in his 6th season is actually below what every other coach (not named O) has done in the last 30 years

Lane kiffin should not be the choice. At all.

He’s Brown Kelly with a flashy offense and usually weaker defense.
