How many of you were won over by O yesterday?

I was on the fence and had serious doubts about Ensminger, but they've won me over. I'm now 100% on the O train. I feel like this can be a very special season. Yesterday was no fluke. LSU simply went into the house of a top 10 opponent wanting revenge against us and won. There are probably less than five teams in the nation that could beat Auburn at their place, and we're one of them.

Still a lot of football left, but 2 top 10 wins as underdog in 3 weeks, sheesh. Certainly was unexpected.

I think we've all been saying all along that if the offense can come together that this team can be really special. It's going to be interesting to see how teams start to defend us once they break down the game film and what adjustments LSU makes to that defense. It's a long season and I hope the coaching staff can keep it going. We've had the talent all along.

I’m becoming more optimistic. Not a complete convert yet though

I have been an O fan and Ensminger supporter. Additionally, we have a damn strong coaching staff which the credit goes to O, and good players of which a lot of the credit goes to O from his days as a recruiting coordinator and a 2 and 1/2 year HC. Ensminger Valles his arse off yesterday and is only three gamesninto a new offense with a new QB and 3 of 5 new offensive linemen who all played great yesterday.

Agreed. Seems like a reasonable decision.

I want to take in the season as a whole. There is no doubt that the win over Auburn was huge though. I just hope they don't feel like they've arrived, and let up any.

O and Ensminger did a hell of a job preparing them for this game. The offensive line play was improved, the play calling was great. I think the offense will just continue to improve, and that could be dangerous.

As of now, Orgeron is proving all of the doubters wrong. That could change very quickly though.

It's more coach E and His new QB that surprised me most.
Throwing the ball all over the field and QB Joe while not armed with a cannon for a arm has a calm ice water in the veins demeanor we haven't had since Matt.

One game will never change my opinion in a meaningful way in either direction.

But I now feel that he has a higher chance of doing good things at Lsu than I did before the game. I still need to see him have consistency across a season - not get blown out by a team we never lose to, not lose to Troy, etc.

And personally I think his choice of OC limits what we can be as a program. But if he can get recruiting back, lock the state down and be a true contender this season I think you’ll see a lot of folks give him a lot more benefit of the doubt.

I'm on the Joe Burrow train. He always tends towards over rather than under throwing to keep the ball away from the defense.

Based on the coaching yesterday I’m very optimistic. I want to wait for the season to play out. As long as he and his staff are performing as they did yesterday I will be all in.

Never was an O pumper or hater. I was and am a hoper and a wait and seer.

But the he can recruit and motivate.

Anyone who pretends to know is an arrogant delusional moron.

He'll never win a championship, but if he can keep getting transfers to make up for complete inability to coach, and takes Aranda hostage forever, he can be good enough to get buttfricked by Alabama and the other anointed teams every year.

But now that I know he'll be the coach forever, because that's our "place," I don't have to give a shite anymore.

See you at the NCAA sanctioning hearings.

My concern with O has always been that he loves the guys so much and is so "rah rah" that I feared he would lose objectivity as an evaluator of what the team needs most to win. However, I see the enthusiasm he brings has really rubbed off and the coordinators are doing their thing and he's letting them.

It may not be a championship formula, but it's at least competitive and represents the university well. Thus far at least.

Yeah the performance yesterday definitely won me over. I don't think we would have won that game with Les. I was very on the fence but the staff did a great job. The team fought hard. Great victory for the Tigers and staff.

I don’t like that our model is praying that Dave Aranda doesn’t leave, but I’ll get off O’s arse for now.

I wouldn't say that he won me over, but he has gotten back to square one after the Troy and State debacles last year.
