You do realize your primary audience are trolls and idiots right? They'd rather bitch and be right than see any success.

I'm here for the dub. Forget the keyboard antagonists.

I know.

My primary audience whenever I talk MBB know who they are. I drive by others intentionally.

I don’t get it to be honest.

Same camp, I don’t think MM is the long term answer based off a lot of metrics and results. However, it’s great to see us continue to own Cal and I want MM to prove everything wrong and be good.

Wouldn't worry.

We are fixing to lose 3 straight again.

We have 5 win opportunities left on the schedule

You people are the biggest pieces of shite who post here. “Oh, I hope they lose every game so they can fire the coach!”

fricking pathetic.

you paid attention to this fanbase before? emotionally unstable and very little common sense.

We could have a coach that is being paid 7m a year....and is 0-4...

yes, I give them a pass though....they will mature and gain wisdom. It is the emotionally unstable older people that make me go wow.

That’s not what pisses them off, most of those folks are just always pissed off.

The ultimate turning point of the game was when the event workers dropped 50+ hot dogs tied to little parachutes from the rafters for the hungry crowd.

Actually, even that was a screw up … should have been corn dogs.

Yep. We want more than to win a few SEC games and no postseason. That’s what we will get by keeping this coach.

As Nick Saban said about LSU fans, they have “catastrophe syndrome”. Here it is again!

But you realize that Arkansas has NBA athletes on that roster and we just physically beat them right? We didn’t shoot the lights out, we beat them in the paint and at the rim so I don’t wanna hear the “muh no talent” nonsense anymore.

I'm starting to believe you are on to something. That is, the Kelvin Sampson way of doing things. Not that I did not believe it. I just did not notice it until you pointed it out.

I just think it’s a more sustainable model for a program like LSU.

Yep. Where is the poster that said Mcmahon only wins when he has a talent advantage. Ark may be underperforming but they have NBA prospects on their roster and calipari is a championship coach. And no matter what the ignorant haters say, Reed would have helped this team win 2-3 more games so far. I criticized MM for not giving Williams more PT based on the play of Sears/Givens lately. Looks like he figured that out. Curious to see what he does when Miller comes back moving forward.

Someone went on the record last week saying LSU would be winless in the SEC and a few agreed with that person.

The game itself came down to LSU being more aggressive offensively and matching the intensity of Arkansas. In the first half it seemed they were just hanging in there, but in the 2nd half they took their intensity up to another level and fought that team.

I'm not 100% willing to go that far considering Reed has ALWAYS been inconsistent. But his presence certainly wouldn't have hurt.

It's ridiculous Williams and Fountain, two guys who HAVE contributed in multiple SEC games, were, until last night, getting little to no minutes this year. I'm not saying you don't continue to play Givens and R. Miller. But nothing they have done this year justifies them getting, in many cases, significant minutes while Williams/Fountain got virtually none.

I said this in another thread. R. Miller may one day be a good player. He isn't now. He doesn't rebound. He doesn't defend. He doesn't score. The best thing he does is hurt people on terribly executed screens. Reed is a "what if" this year because he's not available. But, IMO, LSU has a very strong chance of winning the Vanderbilt game if McMahon wasn't so obtuse that he couldn't figure out why his team was losing that game. Miller played 20 minutes that night. He played the final 11 minutes of the second half. In those 20 minutes he had 2 points, 1 rebound, and 4 fouls. LSU significantly outshot Vandy (from a FG% perspective). What lost them the game was getting their arse kicked on the glass. Yet, McMahon left a guy on the bench (Fountain) who we know will at least give you effort defensively and on the glass. Last night Fountain had 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and was 6-6 from the FT line. It's the FT line where LSU won the game offensively.

While Fountain and Williams didn't exactly light up the scoreboard, they gave you a defensive presence. They gave you effort on the glass. They gave you experienced play late in a tight game. They went a combined 9-10 from the FT line.

McMahon's feel for the flow of the game and finding the right personnel to fit the game has been downright awful in his LSU tenure. The worst I've ever seen from any LSU coach. Hopefully, last night will be one of those moments (like when he was forced to play Chest vs Kansas St) where he fell arse-backwards into getting the right personnel on the floor in the right moments and will continue to play the right guys going forward.
