The lesson is not to clean house when hiring a new coach. Keep the best recruiters and position coaches on staff and make gradual changes....

While I agree, it would be great to have them work with the d-line coach in the spring for on-field technique teaching versus having to cram concepts in during Fall practice. Besides, now it looks like you will have to find interior d-linemen with 3-4 experience to nullify that factor....

That's just it. The DC handles the play-call which includes coverages and pressures. The DB coach is responsible for getting them ready to play by teaching technique and ...

LSU is perfectly capable of keeping count. Why does it matter so much about keeping up with the real numbers from the outside? They are keeping count inside....

I agree. That's why both DB coaches are gone. I like Burns near the LOS, just not deep in coverage. Hopefully, he's lights out next year with a new safety coach....
