He appears to be gliding past guys on a warmup run.

It is unreal how effortless he looks running around out there.

Yep, and with a big ole smile on his face.

But, when he outran Florida to the edge on the TD run, he hit the turbos and was flying.

How he snuck in the corner of the endzone while staring down the defender was definitely Vince Young-esque

Daniels is insanely fast. He has upped his passing game to the point where he is a ton to deal with now as it is. If he takes another step and starts throwing 300 yrds a game he will jump up to top 10 pick in the nfl draft level.

At least 2 times against Bama.

31 yd run on 3rd & 5 (his longest run of the yr) & his 25 yd TD run in OT. He pulled up near the endzone, but he had a good 10-15 yd sprint before then.

He’s a 4.4-4.5 guy

I don't think people realize just how great his vision and feel is as a runner. He's no doubt fast. But part of what makes him look faster is he's already setting up his next move before the defender realizes it. He also has incredible feel for guys around his feet. He almost never gets tripped up because he senses tacklers around his feel and steps through them...even guys seemingly coming from behind him.

No way he runs a 4.5. He makes fast guys look not very fast.

he's a 4.3 maybe low 4.4 guy.

I can’t exactly describe how he seems to move his leg/feet out of harms way just stepping through tackle attempts.

JD might be the fastest player on the field/team.

It literally doesn't make sense how he high stipes his feet out of so many ankle tackles without being tripped. I swear he high steps 20 ankle tackles a game. It's insane.

Daniels makes defenders miss in the open field which keeps the offense lifted.

40-yard-dash-time: 4.5 per profootballnetwork.com

Daniels is a lean, athletic and smooth looking true dual threat with an NFL arm and average ball placement downfield. So far he has proved to have excellent ball handling and play-action fake with good fundamentals, does not pat the ball pre-delivery. He is running a mean-looking option RPO type of attack due to his skill set which we are really appreciating now. He has excellent pocket mobility, can move and release on the run which makes defenses adjust to him. He extends plays and makes it more challenging for defenders to stay with coverages. Best throws I see from him are the slant and crossing routes. Yes, he takes too many sacks with his mobility but it is part of the package. Looks effortless releasing, it's just pretty and he can snap it off when needed. Since first of year he is releasing faster. To me his best route levels are short and deep. He has the arm to fit it into tight coverage at the intermediate route level and he is not afraid to throw it into the middle part of the field. When he is inconsistent downfield it is because his throw does tend to sail high. But he can throw some pretty deep passes and drop it into the breadbasket. I think he has great touch short and deep.

You have to admit he is poised and does not ever seem to get rattled. He shows some passion, but is even tempered and he runs the the offensive attack with energy and tempo.

He does not make stupid or reckless decisions.

Baws, we gonna beat the Hogs by 17+. Those Arky LB's are not ready for this.

He reminds me of Jalen Hurts and he's not far off from the elusiveness of Lamar Jackson.

Makes it look effortless.
