Nearly 20 years ago, in 2002, Nick Saban got shut out by Alabama at home 31-0. We were National Champs the next season. In 2018, Joe Burrow 29-0 and the next season we were National Champions.

The reality is that LSU has gotten humiliated by Alabama through the years. It’s not the end. It’s one regular season loss.

We have Joe Brady, Joe Burrow, and the future top 2 receivers in the NFL coming back? Sweet

is better to lose 31-0 with those players?

In the old days of 5 year contracts CBK would be looking over his shoulder and keeping one eye open.

Kelly won't let the program bottom out like O did, but he won't win anything of significance either.

I think the worst part of this is how weak we look. No fight and little effort. Both sides of the line getting pushed wherever the opponent wants them to go. We have maybe 3 dogs playing hard with most just putting in their time. At least with the previous coaches, you knew we would be as jacked as possible and ready to fight. Not so much at all with this team.

And it comes straight from the top with BK and his sissy “Path”.

So we won a title after the loss to Troy?

In years? So you're 2 years old? We have extreme recruits coming in and you're less confident than the 2020 we da victims failures? Correct yourself. Our coaching is suspect, but the woke movement skull drug our program after the men got done winning the best team of all time award.

Burrow was very pedestrian that year.

Not in terms of LSU passing, he was not. 2018 was the fourth-best LSU passing season at the time, Here they are in 1-4 ranking, current rank in ()

(3) 2001 - Rohan Davey - 3,347
(4) 2006 - JaMarcus Russell - 3,129
(5) 2013 - Zach Mettenberger - 3,082
(7) 2018 - Joe Burrow - 2,894

It is now 7th behind
(1) 2019 Joe Burrow - 5,671
(2) 2023 - Jayden Daniels - 3,812
(6) 2022 - Jayden Daniels - 2,913

We’ve lost to Troy before only to win a national championship the next year. The short sighted minds on here are incredible.

This is some shite you’d expect to see on Facebook LSU fan pages. We know ball here pal.

Not many coaches can recover from a 42-13 beat down in your own house with everything on the line. This is the kind of shite you’d expect in year one not year three.

Nick Saban, LSU, 2002 (Year 3)
Bama game. At home.
Lost 31-0

It was his third loss of the season…
He also lost the opener in blowout fashion and on the road to a solid Auburn team 2 games before Bama.

I’m not saying Kelly will recover like Saban did. I’m just saying that sometimes it’s exactly “the kind of shite you can expect in year 3”
