Sounds like Hannibal needs to get off his arse and play hard. Complete rework of the roster is needed.

According to the announcers this was only their 2nd or 3rd game with the entire roster healthy. That may have been the difference between the two games.

You’re completely right, I edited & left you out of it.
If you want my positive takeaway it’s that this team probably overachieved with one available PG most of the season & no strength inside.
I’m sold that McMahon can succeed here with a complete and complementary roster — my sole question is whether he can put that roster together.
I’m behind the guy & yea he probably only has a year left to make the dance — but the whole “bad news bears” schtick is so disingenuous.
9-9 in the SEC is plenty respectable for this team, there’s a reason we weren’t picked to win any conference games.

Wilkinson participated in Senior night activities whereas Fountain, also a Senior, didn’t. So I think it’s reasonable to assume he’s moving on. It’s also hard to see Cook coming back given he essentially got kicked off the team.
Best case scenario no one else leaves. More likely scenario is that another player or two enters the portal. 3-4 transfers OUT per year is becoming the average

You do know that the great MM is responsible for putting the roster together and for the players coming back,but if he just had talent to compete. Heard that before same old shite excuse I just can't get any talent,oh and by the way Hannibal just stated what we have been watching for the last 2 years with this clown coach!

I’m with you on the fact that I’m pretty positive he can’t put the roster together. A good friend of mine is within this program on the recruiting side and I had high hopes for him and this staff. In saying that, they better not miss this go round.

Oh that was absolutely the biggest difference. The refs let them play and they were very physical and we were not.
Of course that's been IMHO our biggest weakness all year, lack of toughness. Hannibal is about the only dog we had.
