I couldn’t agree more. Our offense is polar opposite from that first game last year as a whole in terms of production and cohesiveness as a team. I’m sure FSU got better, it’s hard not to at least some when you have so much returning after a full season together. The difference is we finished with the #2 SOS last year and navigating that gauntlet made us better by a wider margin than the amount that FSU got better with their #50 SOS. Both teams got 10 wins but look at who they played to get those…

God I hoping the special team has improved. It can't get any worse than last year. RIGHT? lol

What overtime are you talking about? The FSU game did not go into overtime.

6-7, get your facts right if you want to be taken seriously. That is the second one in this post.

Louisville and BC? Neither of which were over .500 in conference.

LSU only beat 1 team with a record over .500 in the conference last season, Alabama. An FSU fan might also point out that they did not lose to any teams who ended up with losing records like A&M, and didn't get blown out by anyone.

Also, that was last season. Both teams look to be better this season. I think LSU wins fairly easily but it could easily turn into a nail-biter.

I don’t how it goes any way except better. I can’t remember seeing a season as bad as it was.

I see it playing out like the Florida game last year. Close for a couple quarters then we blow it open in the second half. Maybe they score again in garbage time maybe not.

Depending on QB, RB, and DB play, LSU could open it up earlier. Those are also what may make it a nail-biter. My expectation is at least two of those will be rock solid so I expect LSU to start to pull away by the end of the half.

We also lost to aggie, barely beat Auburn and Arkansas without Jefferson.

I think we win and possibly pull away in the 4th, but FSU is going to be a tough out. Travis is a good QB, they have quality WRs and Verse is a beast..

Thanks to our 'outstanding' game/contract administer verge ausberry...we opened our SECOND season in a row vs. an opponent who bamboozeled us with a pre-season opener for themselves ! Simple to avoid this with the proper language w/in ANY contract but verge DID NOT DO THIS, and seemingly was never called out for such a dumbass move !!!

First time in two years our opponent won’t have a trash week zero game.

Biggest question mark will be LSU's secondary, have the players just need to gel and perform.

One. Against us.

LSU game 1 was NOT LSU game 10. The growth LSU had from game 1 to game 6 was light years.

So…. Anyone thinking that beating LSU in game 1 of last year was a quality win, well… it wasn’t.

Jordan Travis with Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman against our unproven corners is a big area of concern. It’ll be a shootout.

i hope it's a tough game and hope the team is challenged in every aspect of the game.

i hope it brings out the toughness in each player for LSU.

Tigers win and kneel to run out the clock.

They also killed it in the transfer portal as well. Think we have the overall talent edge but I really dont know what is going to happen.
