And it's working.

Got the call up to AAA this season and has a .811 OPS with 1 HR in 46 ABs.

Wonder if it has improved his defense as well.

He’s one hell of a hitter, great eye for the ball. This makes good sense to me. I will root for him to become the next Tony Gwynn. Of course that’s as lofty as it gets, but since I’m a fan I can hope for whatever I want.

Good ball player and a natural hitter, hope he’s able to carve out a nice career in pro ball.

He was a lot better than expected. He didn’t make errors, but I would not call him an asset at third (other than at the plate).

He will be forever known as the man who definitively answered the question: who can beat us?

Long season. 46 AB is a blink. a HR every 25 AB over the course of a season is considered really good. The elite power guys go 1 every 12 or so. Let' see how it plays out for TT

He made some good plays that year. Also not making errors is pretty big.

shite his 23 defense would be better than everyone but Milam this year.

I’ve never seen such clown shite defense from an sec team all year as what we have seen from our catchers, Yorke, Reeves and others

If you are not hurting your team in the field you are an asset. He was above average for a college 3B
