Here are the reasons:
1. You’re dumb and don’t understand why he will never come back. And it is just stupid to keep posting the same crap.
2. See reason 1.
See reason 1.
For the record as a Wade supporter, it really pisses me off you all don’t understand the above yet you keep flooding this page like it will make a damn but if difference.

I get the impression that some in admin are asking some of you losers to continue to start Will Wade threads over and over,
No doubt Wade’s agent, best friend or wife post here.

What a fig.
Again, I’m a massive Wade fan but I have accepted he will never be back.

Wade wasnt that great of a coach. He wasn't really an x's and o's guy.
Explain the high rankings in offensive efficiency when he was here? Just luck?

NCAAT 3/5 years, an NIT and a rebuild year - consistently competitive.
Brady, TJ, CJJ, Wade, CoachMc. Name the one that met that simple criteria.
I'd say two of those could reasonably be considered in that category. Brady and Wade. Brady started in a deep hole. He did have a drop-off after the final four. I have heard that he had issues with the way AAU coaches had so much sway in the recruiting process and that may have hurt him there, though I am not sure if that is true.
I think the fact that he rubbed certain people the wrong way at times may have led to a quick trigger when firing him. But he has certainly rehabilitated his image within the LSU athletic department now if it ever was really tarnished.
Wade's tenure is pretty close to unprecedented with the quick success without any apparent downturn. Time may have changed that but we will never know unless LSU does rehire him (not holding my breath).

I agree. Brady took over a terrible situation and did well, but also was a victim to his own ego, gruffness and the inconsistency of the program year to year. When he got fired no one thought he’d be this rehabilitated with the fanbase. But that’s credit to him for acknowledging his own shortcomings.

Wade's record in NCAA Tourney at LSU: 2-1 (2018-19), 1-1 (2020-21), 0-1 (2021-22).
In 5 seasons at LSU, he made the NCAA tourney 3 out of 4 years (didn't count Covid year) which may be good for a McNeese program, but not at LSU. In any event, his overall NCAA tournament record was 3-3 . That was over 5 years.
If you count the NIT his first year, he was 4-4 overall in posteason play, because he was 1-1 in the NIT in 2017-18.
What makes you think that WW can win in the NCAA tournament at another school when he couldn't even win in post-season at LSU in 5 years?
Granted, now he can win games in the Southland Conference at McNeese, get to the first round of the tournament and flame out like he always does. If LSU goes looking for another bball coach, I would hope that we could do better.

You tell me the last time LSU made the NCAAT 4 consecutive seasons.
McNeese? Lol. McNeese made the NCAAT twice in their entire history prior to Wade.
I need to start charging people for history lessons.

Most reasonable fans honestly would be very satisfied with a team that plays hard, is competitive, always in the running for a SEC championship, makes the tournament every year and wins at least the first two rounds and makes a run at sweet 16 or better once every several years
So mediocrity.

4-6 in the tourney
Highest and only final ranking while at LSU… was ranked 9th one year band final AP rank was 12
No other year were we ranked in the top 25.
Is that better than at the moment? Yeah. Would we fall to shite most times against good defense in tournaments? Yeah. Were we some highly respected national team while he was here? Nope. As a matter of fact, his firing from LSU has raised his profile to a whole other level. A lot of this constant WW talk is children being petty and a good bit of revisionist history. I wonder if a lot of the same posters that shite on Dale Browns legacy are the WW guys.. which would be ironic as hell

How many different schools did Wade coached teams make the NCAAT prior to his age 41? How old is Wade right now?
How many NCAAT did LSU make in the 5 years prior to him coaching? How many NCAAT did LSU make in the 10 years prior to him coaching? How many NCAAT has LSU made in the 3 years post his firing?
You want to compare things? Lets compare apples to apples. I'm not going to answer these questions for you. I KNOW the answers, do you????

I doubt you could find one functionally brained LSU basketball fan that wouldn't crawl on broken glass to bring Will Wade back to LSU. Maybe some people that either hate basketball or are extremely low IQ would disagree but everyone else would be over the moon. If LSU doesn't make an effort they'll deserve the donors abandoning the program until a clue is found.

I started at LSU Pete’s senior year. Pete lit the fire that got the Assembly Center rolling. Dale Brown came in and gradually turned LSU into a conference power and a nationally known team. He put LSU in tgd Final Four in 1981.
LSU went to the tournament year after year. We even got back to snothef Final Four under Dale.
He brought in a lot of top talent. He recruited nationally and stste wide. Higgs, Macklin, Shaq, Jackson and others led the way. 15,000 fans would pack the arena to see LSU in done big games.
We can be a basketball and a football school, but it takes leadership and funding. Right now thd women have that, the men do not.

This is the most over posted subject on the rant in my 22 years here. It’s surpassed 1/9/12. I’m not sure why some of you keep needlessly bringing up the subject. Wade is a better coach than McMahon but he isn’t coming back. Time to move on like you do from a bad marriage.

Wade wasnt that great of a coach. He wasn't really an x's and o's guy. We still played most of the game in isolation with maybe a screen here and there. We still missed layups. We still Didn't know how to run a fast break. He definitely had more talent to work with though
This is accurate. Although he has evolved into a better motion offense coach. He used the time off to study some of the most efficient offenses in the game. And don’t think that player’s ability doesn’t make that smoother. He could flat bringem in. I spoke w him recently he’s fired up to win a game in tournament this year. I wished him luck as I know many of you would’ve as well.

No one said the expectation was to win the NCAA tournament. Noone at LSU has ever done that.

Wade is actually 1-1 in the NCAA tournament at LSU, his teams were 3-3. He did not coach in the 2019 or 2022 NCAA TOurnaments.

Wade's SEC record at LSU is 56–33 (.629). Can you name an LSU coach with a better SEC record than Wade? I know the answer.
Only two LSU coaches have gotten their teams to more NCAA Tournaments, John Bradu(4) and Dale Brown(13), and if not for COVID it would have only been Dale Brown. And none went to as many in his first 5 years.
Could LSU do better? Maybe but the only real way that happens is if the hit on someone who is up and coming (like they did with Wade) or someone who wants back into college basketball (like Billy Donovan, if he didn't have a better offer) or maybe an image rehab (like Beard was for Ole Miss).
