If you were there, it was great. Piggies just scored, place is rocking, they got us now. Then stone cold silence.

And then he closed out the game with back-to-back sacks. :-)

In all seriousness, I remember the Advocate recap of the 2005 (I think) Arky game. Arky QB was Casey Dick and Melvin Oliver sealed the win with a late sack. The Advocate story described it as “Oliver buried Dick at the 37 yard line”. ISWYDT.

I miss Hawthorne. He messed up a lot but his voice is the soundtrack of most of my greatest sports memories

The KO return game was 2006, right?

Arky also had a QB named Johnson. ESPN put up a headline “Dick replaces Johnson at QB”. Like an hour later they changed it.

He certainly wasn’t ever going to get caught from behind.

This video doesn't really do it justice. We we sitting in the endzone where Trindon caught the kick. When he broke through the pile of players and cut to the sideline everyone in the endzone threw their arms up. We all knew it was TD, They had the angle but no way they were catching him and they didn't.

Legit track speed. The only guy in the conference that was faster was Tyson Gay at Arkansas who's run the second fastest time in history for 100 meters.
