Hell yeah. Plus props to Felix we need to start getting kids from places like Booker T., Kickapoo, etc., just as much as anywhere else. We’re closer than their schools, our school is better, NWA and the State of Arkansas are better, and our fans are better. We just have to get past the shoot ourselves in the dick shite and we can accomplish something. I’m not saying Silverfield is coming in and pulling a Cignetti and our alumni base is not like Indiana’s, but we are not as bottom of the barrel as we’ve performed. We can absolutely do better with what we have. I’m going to give this new staff a chance. #WallOfText

I do believe we should quit red shirting kids with the majority of the redshirts hitting the portal anyway.

Absolutely. Further, if we have staff not pulling weight in their evaluation, recruitment, and quick turnaround on talent development as related to in-game production - then they aren’t doing their job and it also needs to be addressed as much as what players are coming in because it ultimately decides that and what the turnout looks like. Cal knows how to get good guards. He needs his staff to get good bigs that are already there or can be taught quickly and are ready to play. Redshirting is basically pointless for any player worth a shite.
You’re bitching after us making 5 out of the last S16s, two elite 8s, and winning the SEC tournament for the first time in over 20 years and continuing to recruit at an elite level. I’m going to go ahead and trust the coach with over 900 career wins, a natty, multiple natty and tournament appearances on more than just a 2 year data sample. Also, some of it really is just luck - we do need better bigs but even Zona, who dominated us in that regard was dominated by Michigan. It is a cutthroat world and things aren’t the same as they were and they were never easy. We need to focus on supporting what is succeeding and help those programs where they are deficient. Pretty sure that we have a dedicated assistant coach(es) who recruits and is suppose to develop big men - you want to blame someone, blame that guy first. If we’re at the same place after next year, I’ll concede to your argument. The Ivisovic brothers would not have propelled us past Michigan.

Yeah, to that’s true. I don’t even get why Dems think that’s a worthy issue to push. The voting numbers don’t support going after it and it’s like the lowest fricking priority ever from a holistic perspective of where the world is at and where our Country is.
I would take any of our bigs over Z - Billy Richmond or Knox could probably zero him out or just kick his weak arse in iso. His brother is definitely better, I won’t deny that, but would he really have been enough?

I’m not done with POTUS. But I look forward to seeing JD Vance getting us out of some of this stupid shite and not going on Easter Sunday tirades. Have some fricking decorum if you want me to keep supporting you.

Michigan fans are absolutely doing it to get under Wisconsin’s skin. It’s loud, it’s obvious, and it shows up great on TV.

That’s almost as lame as how every yankee “has” to have a lame nickname. Or in the SEC, it’s about as gay as yell leaders or the Mizzou Antlers.
Wish him the best and he stuck it out. Just couldn’t break through. I hope he succeeds wherever he lands (ideally not in our conference though). Interesting development though…
Best play Casey Dick ever made was blocking Chad Jones for McFadden in our 2008 OT game for a 70yd td. Dude is arse and cancer.
I’m not following. So Knox has hit the portal and Thomas is likely going pro?

Hopefully not that bad. But this is why it’s really easy to criticize DVH for not capitalizing in the past when we had our chances to “sweep the leg”. A season like this is bound to come up every once in a while no matter what our recruiting looked like on paper. Of course, it goes beyond just DVH. Still seeing the same stupid approach at the plate…
Harry, whut? All I’m saying is that it’s easier than ever to level up and start taking college classes/acquiring enough credits to enroll in a legit university earlier than it ever was before.

Have to agree. Bri Ellis is a much more bodacious slugger.

You should research Pettiford leading a final four caliber team in the Maui Tournament

But did he actually lead them to the final 4?… We looked great in Maui a couple of years ago and then very deservedly missed the Dance.
Agree. A good chunk of these kids start taking college classes early if they’re eligible to anyway during their senior year(whether they actually care, etc. - not speculating, but it’s just more practical and if you can start college early, whether an athlete or not, why not?)
Didn’t y’all hire him first knowing he was gay from the TCU stuff?
