You remember wrong. He was a 10 flat guy and won the NCAAs one year. Dude was elite.

Same. I have not listened to Chris Blair so don’t know if he is good or not, but back in the day where televised games were rare, Hawthorne was my Tiger Football.

Was there in end zone in a sea of red. One of the dumbest questions I was ever asked at a football game:

“You ever heard anything this loud!?”

This was asked right as Arkansas moved down the field with ease on first drive. Craig Davis neutralized that pretty quickly.

An entertaining ball game. Arkansas didn’t know how to throw the football on their last drive. It was comical.

I vividly remember the foot drag with the rubber pellets popping off in the end zone and thought that was the coolest thing ever
