I said the same thing.
Texas is good, I'll grant you that. I don't get the hype with Manning. If he didn't have that last name, he wouldn't have all this publicity.
They won by three against TN.
They're hardly unbeatable.
I'm surprised that they didn't flip flop with Georgia in the rankings. I get it, rankings mean little right now but just the same, I'm surprised the two didn't flip flop.

He can scramble and run and he's a decent passer but you get him pressured and he panics.

You do realize Tennessee’s offense is young and they don’t have a great scheme because they are starting a true freshman QB. I think Texas has a good defense, but it is apparent that Tennessee’s offense isn’t the benchmark

That game is so far off it’s not worth effort to analyze. With injuries etc you can’t tell yet. I will say glad it’s at home

Barring injuries on the OL, they will be much better. Barring injury to Jones, our running game will be formidable. Assuming Leavitt is ready to go and continues getting better as a well rounded, accurate quarterback coupled with Jackson Harris, Watkins and Wilson getting better, this is a formidable unit especially if Tre’Dez Green is back.
Barring injuries to anymore defensive starters, they should continue their dominance.
However, all that depends on the health of the team. The same can be said of Texas. This will be in the meat of a grueling schedule right after a good Miss State, Kentucky, a bad, but always dangerous Auburn team, right before Alabama.
Many physical games before Texas and it is a possible let down game after Bama. Although, if Texas is still ranked #1, I don’t see how that could happen.

Nothing about Texas really scares me. They aren’t some juggernaut. I’m actually beginning to like our schedule. We get Bama, Texas, and Moo State at home. I’m kind of thankful we don’t have Florida on our schedule this year and that we don’t play Georgia. The injuries make it tougher but all of our goals are still achievable, and don’t seem impossible.

You should be more concerned about Kentucky. That’s not a gimme for the Tigers. Neither is Moo U.
