Earlier today I was listening to Hannigrif and Ott and Charlie stated that this was not particularly about LSU. It was the bigger picture of roster control and local/state suits going forward. The SEC has set the bar at a point that it may not control player suits and NCAA rules but it will enforce its rules against member institutions regardless of what is going on in the player realm. The Fed Court thing was to get the Feds to say they could enforce their rules without being overruled by state courts. Not sure how that really works out legally.

When LSU filled the spots and negated any chance the players would be added the point as far as LSU was concerned was moot. LSU was the trial balloon on this stand on the line from the conference.

Take it FWIW...

Let me guess, a bullshite suspension of Lane is on the agenda.

On what grounds? What has he done wrong to receive a suspension?

Unless LSU is invited to the meeting, it still will be abt some kind of penalties against the team or administration.

This is a fairly significant leak, assuming Stankey was the one who leaked it. If expulsion was still “on the table” than that certainly would mean that the meeting was going to be about suspending Kiffin. The SEC woudn’t have a meeting about voting to expel LSU and either 1. Expel LSU or 2. Not expel LSU. The first option is crazy and the second option makes them look like even bigger fools and simps. So the result of the meeting would be LSU has to suspend Kiffin for ___________ games or they will be expelled.

I think it has to do with a penis being inserted into a mouth.

The damage is basically irreparable until Sankey is shown the door, perhaps Plowman too. That bitch is slated to serve as president of the SEC's Executive Committee through June 30, 2027.

Correct.

LSU was just the first school to create this by being involved in a case where the SEC became a named defendant and dragged into one of these state court proceedings.

The SEC wants to ensure they can enforce their rules and no state court can try to TRO that away.

Once LSU bent the knee and officially made it impossible to roster the players, everything subsided.

On Sankey being dismissed as Commissioner:

I really hope you are right Project. Sankey and the SEC have shown just how much they hate LSU. They cannot be expected to just forgive and forget. There are many different ways to continue this insane hatred. Both on the field and off. Personally, the distrust I now have for the SEC admin is paramount. They have already crossed too many lines.

The call probably won't happen. Much less a vote on expulsion
