It all depends on how well his combine and pro day go.

He'll do great throwing in front of scouts. No defense/pass rush so his happy feet back; foot throws; pocket awareness; and general lack of mobility won't be an issue.

1. he was obviously hurt
2. I give Joe Sloan 90% of the fault for the putrid offense including the OL problems
3. BK mailed it in this year really badly.

Nuss did not forget everything he did in 2024 when he had a decent OL and receivers. Time will be the judge

I never would have predicted Bo Nix to be a Heisman contender or playoff OB based on time at Auburn...

It could have just been bad coaching. You throw him into the saints starting lineup and watch him ball.

Time will tell, my thoughts are no way he makes it in the NFL--but been wrong before. Good luck.

Two things can be true at once. He was a bad fit for LSU last year b/c he is immobile. He also panics and makes terrible decisions.

However, he isn't as awful as he looked last year. That was a cluster f.

The two things argument:
He can be drafted higher than (LSU fans) expected due to the talent that does exist. He also happens to be part of an overall terrible QB class, so that will help his position, imo.

He has value to NFL teams if he has healed and recovered the throwing velocity he had as year 1 starter. He still has a few improvements to make though.

Yeah let's just ignore his Junior year footage when he led the SEC in passing

This...NFL scouts don't just look at 1 season. And players are selected on potential, not records.

LMAO

He’ll be in sales next year.

But then again, Omar Speights made it so what the heck do I know?

don't worry, Tigerdroppings collectively knows nothing about all 3 of the big pro drafts. We learn that every year.

There are maybe a handful of posters who understand how drafts work.

If he is healthy and goes to A) a solid program (not Raiders, Jets, Atlanta, Cleveland) and find a Farve > Rodgers > Love type of mentorship I think he could be decent / serviceable.

You say some of the most ignorant things on this site, and that's saying something.

I think his major problem this year was his oblique injury. I think he will do fine in the pros for a team looking for a pure pocket passer.
His negative is his lack of mobility.

Sorry Mrs Van Buren that things didnt work out for your son, but he wasnt a P4 QB. He started 2 years in the SEC and won 1 SEC game. One

BK, Sloan, and Kiffen didnt want him as a starter. The only one that did is 28-43 as a head coach

Nuss will likely be the 3rd QB off the board. You'll just have to live with that

He also panics

Time after time he waited for a receiver to come open only to be crushed by an unblocked linebacker.
