class is gay.

2019 LSU had zero class. They danced on graves.

"winning with class" is one of the dumbest phrases of all time.

Was it sustainable?

Both Lynn and Ronnie talked about it immediately before Jones called time, so it may not have been apparent on TV, but live at the game he was quick pitching.

Pitch #2 was a quick pitch, that was the only one. People here are exaggerating

And the announcers who said there were two quick pitches.

Even the announcers said the pitcher was working fast. It was deliberate as soon as they saw him come to bat. He took offense to it and smashed it. No issues with his reaction either. Only bud light fans would have a problem and want him ejected.

Now I have zero sympathy for him - should have been ejected.

Cool I’ll take your word for it.

Everything is an agreeable here after a win.

After seeing it after missing it yesterday I wouldn’t call that a quick pitch.

Saw it live at The Box and focused after Jones didn't like the first pitch. Second pitch was def a quick pitch.
Strickland got what he deserved. A big plate of in your face!

I can understand maybe being in person it maybe was more obvious.

In the film above it makes it tough to see it being on purpose.

Also, a little don’t mess with me attitude gets the team fired up in a Rubber Match game. Jay prolly was happy inside to see it.
As were most of us.

I have to go into baseball and scroll over to find the LSU/whoever matchup.

This is what I have been having to do the past few weeks and the part that blows my mind is how far back LSU gets buried. Figured the #1 team, with the top fan base, and playing a top 10 team would be one of the first options.

Just saw the replay and this is what I saw as well. It was the 2nd strike, not the HR ball that was a quick pitch. Pitcher started the windup before Jones was set, ump should have waived off the throw.

Going back to what happened with the UF ump, this ump crew handled it perfectly. Jones was still chirping while rounding 1st. 2nd base ump got in front of Jones and was talking to him from 2nd-3rd. Home plate ump said nothing, then walked over to Jay while the team was celebrating. Handled the situation calmly and did not make it about them.

I wouldn’t call that a quick pitch.

It's not like he pitched when Jones was looking down. But I timed it, and from the time jones swung on the pitch before to the time he hit the homer on the next pitch, exactly 6 seconds had passed. I'd call that pretty quick, but it wasn't like jones wasn't ready.

The 2nd one is what was quick and Jones spoke about after the game. When he was set in the box, the pitcher was in the middle of his wind up. That is 100% a quick pitch. That's why the commentators spoke on it and why Jones asked for time. I didn't think the 1st pitch was quick, to be honest.

You don't know what was being said through the game. Why do people have such a big problem with players showing a little emotion?

On that note has anyone else been having issues searching LSU in ESPN app

I've definitely noticed this issue. A work around that I do is going to "scores" and finding the game then clicking the watch link from the scoreboard. It's easier to search for LSU baseball through the scoreboard

Nope. So it really doesn’t matter what you think.
